my senior 3 coed team does a toe touch to three BHS in standing tumbling, then in jumps they do 3 jumps to 1 BHS and 1 jump to 2 BHS. Any tips for maxing out standing? Last competition our standing tumbling difficulty scored low

Maybe standing without jumps? Like just BHS series. And BHS series - jump - BHS series. There's not much you can do haha. Maybe add a bit level 1 in, BHS series - BHS step out - bwo - BHS series.

Variety, different entrances. So Jump + 3 fulfills your jump + requirement, and then standing into jump into series.

We had a very similar series after our jumps. When we switched the 3 jumps to 1 BHS to 3 jumps to 2 BHS and then 1 jump 2 BHS it seems to put our score up. All I can figure is have multiple BHS after the multiple jumps made the difference.

Thank y'all! All these tips really helped! Originally choreographers gave us the toe to 3 and then two step round-off tucks. We changed the routine where we max out in running in the opening so I wanted to replace the ro tucks with another standing pass but I think I'll try adding an extra BHS to each series they do and hopefully that will help with our difficulty score.

This past weekend my daughter's Small Senior 3 team won their division in NCA and got the paid Summit bid for level 3. Their standing series is 3 jumps to 3 BHS - they have maxed out their standing tumbling difficulty at most of the competitions they have attended this year.

triple BHS round off tuck maybe?
I used to have to do a full team front punch landing on the ground, managed to get quantity scores for tumbling up.

These (from the ro) would both be considered running tumbling and would not help standing tumbling score. Unless you do a punch front standing absolutely still initiating it (then maybe they would judge it for standing), which I highly doubt anyone does.

It was initiated from standing after jumps so it was counted as standing tumbling in the incidences we had it in our routine, but this was about 2 years ago now so the rule may have changed.

As far as I remember that would be level 4, although I think most EPs have now stopped rewarding 3/4 front somis (either running or standing).

You're going to have judges be inconsistent. I think you are on the right track having three sections vs the standard required two. I would suggest as much variety as possible. Get creative with formations and sync. Ive had some perfect 5.0 in difficulty with Jump 2 BHS, Jump 1 BHS, Standing BHS Stepout BHS and some under majority Double BHS through to Tucks.
