They didn't even look similar. Someone's gonna get fired over that.
It happened at the Tonys, too. Showed a guy who was nominated for best supporting actor in a musical in the place of a guy who was nominated for best director of a musical. How hard is it to double check to make sure something like that doesn't happen?
Like someone said on Twitter, it shows how important competent stage managers are.
Is it that difficult to hand them the correct card? Or to make sure you have the picture of the correct dead person?

Not gonna lie, I love all this drama and excitement, and I've spent all day looking at memes and conspiracy theories. But people actually got hurt because of that mistake, which is a shame.

Have any of you seen the movie called "Hush"? I came out last year. It's honestly a really good movie! The soundtrack in it too is superb.

OH. MY. GOD.

Some dude's sole job was to hand out the correct envelopes. They are gonna get fired.

Credit to the Moonlight producers, who handled it like champs. Although Damien Chazelle was in the background looking like he was going to cry or murder someone.
As an accounting student, I think it's a little funny how articles are slamming PwC and saying their reputation is ruined. A guy handed the wrong envelope, which is a huge mistake, but I think it would be a much bigger error, especially for an accounting firm, if they incorrectly tallied the votes or something like that. But I don't think the guy will be fired. ..I think he is the managing partner for PwC's Southern California region and he likely deals with a lot of entertainment clients. I doubt many of them care since the error wasn't related to how PwC actually conducted the vote? But I think he'll be fine. He's being criticized a lot in the news and the press certainly isn't good for PwC, but I would be surprised if he got fired for it.

Yeah, I felt so bad for the LaLa Land cast/crew and wish that everyone involved with Moonlight had gotten to fully enjoy their day in the sun (no pun intended). And poor Warren Beatty, did you guys see how he got the card snatched out of his hand? And Faye Dunaway just HAD TO be first, SMH. I feel like this is partially her fault.

The tweets were hilarious though.

I wasn't talking about PwC, I was talking about the PA backstage whose job it was probably to hand out the envelopes that PwC brought to the venue. That dude is fired, for sure.

Has anyone seen Get Out? I'm not usually a movie enthusiast but this was one was up my alley and I thought it was amazing.
People have been raving about it and now I really want to go see it. 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 100+ reviews, I was shocked! I couldn't tell whether it was spoof comedy (like Scary Movie) or horror from the trailers. It was certainly too dark to be the former.

Imagine if a team went a different approach in there routine and decided to add a jumpstyled part of there routine? I'm saying full out jumpstyle music and jumpstyle dance. Would they gain creativity points for that for adding something different?
