When tumbling and throwing doubles, my ankles often cross and as a result my feet will come apart slightly. I always either spin a quarter turn short or the entire double twist, but landings are difficult because one leg is almost always bent. Any tips for staying in my spin and finishing the skill correctly and with straight legs?

Squeeze your bum and your inner thighs together.
Practice the pass on a fast-track or rod floor so you have more time to focus on the technique and twisting as a whole, instead of your body breaking (in your case sounds like form is breaking at your knees).
A video would help us critique the skill better.

Squeezing worked! There's still room for improvement but even the first time I threw a double it looked much better!

Thanks for the tip, ankles still crossed a little bit but this was at the very end of practice so I was a little worn out :D anything else I could work on?

This actually looks pretty clean! I'm not a tumbling coach - so you might want to seek the advice from someone on here who can really fine-tune it. Keep it up :) !
