Watched Fruitvale Station with cp Friday night and now we are watching Hotel Rwanda. I've seen Hotel Rwanda a few times but cp hasn't, she is 14 so I felt she was old enough to watch it with me. We both need a lot of tissues right now [emoji24]

Clearly I have a thing with saying goodbye...

Life Is Beautiful.

We had to watch this in history class in high school, and it's about a Jewish father and son who get sent to an internment camp during the Holocaust. I wont spoil then ending, but we didn't get to finish the movie in class so I had to go home and finish it on my own. Another one of the most heart wrenching movies I've seen.

I haven't seen the documentary but I watched the episode on ID regarding this documentary. I balled my eyes out watching that episode so can imagine crying though the documentary :(. The movies is The Price of Honor.

My Girl, If I Stay, Endless Love, The Boy In The Striped Pajamas, Room, 10 Things I Hate About You, Safe Haven, Great Gatsby, Rent, Age Of Adaline and a million more... too many sad romance movies I've seen to name Lol!!

completely different category but i remember the book "Death from child abuse... and no one heard" being one of the saddest books i ever read. And i remember it being apart of required school reading in like middle school.

* and crazy enough it happened in the same part of town in florida that i live in right now.
Happened in the part I used to live in. Theres actually a movie for it just its nowhere to be found online. My early childhood teacher had it and showed us it after reading the book.. so sad

On another sad related topic, the book Three Little Words is a must read if into "A Child called It" and
Death By Child Abuse... and No One Heard"

I read the book "A Child called it", also got to listen to the author speak in person. Although the book was sad, he was very inspiring. Amazing what he overcame and now uses to help others.

My Girl
The Cure
Anything with dogs
The Other Sister (not a great movie but there's a scene that always gets me)
Father of the Bride
Pixar movies...up, inside out, toy story 3
Home Alone (the scene at the end where he doesn't see his mom initially)

Number one, The Boy In The Striped Pajamas. Had to pause it multiple times just to cry. Also The Fault In Our Stars and Bridge To Terabithia.

A Child Called It still haunts me.
I've read that book as well but I've also seen a lot of articles from his brother saying a lot of it was made up. Not gonna pick a side on that but his brothers book that came out after his was an interesting read as well.
