So I'm about 7 minutes into So Sharpe and this is the most Build-a-Bear carbon copy reality show of this genre. I can't say I "lost respect" for something I truly don't give an ounce of thought about but it's all so manufactured already. "I'm know as the B--- on the team".

I'm more than a little sad that there's a chance Great Comet will close soon thanks to the mess that happened yesterday. But one of the ads on this site is trying to convince me to see Come From Away, so that could end up being Plan B.
If you see Come From Away let me know how it is!! My sister and I finally saw Hamilton last week and we are trying to plan our next show. I want Come From Away but she wants Dear Even Hansen plus we might see Something Rotten on tour this spring.

If you can afford Dear Evan Hansen tickets, go with that. (Their SRO tickets are done through an online lottery now, so that's a more affordable option.) I'm not going until the 22-25th of September, so there's still some time. And unless I win the lottery, I won't get to see Hamilton. I just want to see Javier in it, but he was injured when I was there in March.
Thanks to a Tumblr post I made, I got a video recording of Come From Away. (All I wanted to know is how the heck they managed to get nominated for the Tony for choreography while War Paint and Anastasia didn't....)

Man, if plane tickets weren't $400+ I'd see Broadway shows more often. Or I need to cancel one of my credit cards & get one I can earn airline miles with...

Thanks for the tips! We might try the lottery! That's how we got first row seats for the book of mormon is SF a few years back!! It would probably be her Christmas present if we go but I definitely want to try the lottery before paying those crazy prices. I love Broadway but the prices are so crazy we usually only book tickets for one show a year or try the lottery. I am asking for Harry Potter tickets for my grad present becasue its coming to Broadway this April. My friend and I were in London a few months ago and we tried to find tickets but they were way to expensive. We saw Hamilton in SF so its the touring cast but they are amazing! Still wish I could have made it for the original cast though

I need to see dear Evan Hansen! Great comet was soooo good! I saw Charlie and the chocolate factory over the weekend for my daughters bday, so not worth it. the lack of set, choreography and original songs bothered me. We got tickets for like $60 each in orchestra at tkts. Mad I even spent that much lol

Come From Away is next on our list.
It looks so good! Its so hard to decide what to see next. Dear Even Hansen, Come From Away and Something Rotten are on our family list. I want to see wicked again since I saw it like 8 years ago and the rest of my family never has
That reminds me I'll never get to see Joshua Henry as Burr. [emoji20]
You should try the lottery for Groundhog Day; I've heard good things about it, and since it's at a Jujamcyn-owned theatre the lotteries are done a week at a time so you enter for the days you're available all at once. It's how I won the lottery for Present Laughter twice. Only went once though, cause I wanted to try the cancellation line for Dear Evan Hansen.

The TDF might be an option for you as well.

Thanks for the tip! I'll have to take a look at Groundhog day. I want to try the cancellation line with a firm plan b in place becasue we live a little far from the city and I want to have something to do if we can't get tickets.

Something Rotten closed on Broadway but they are on a tour now not sure if it's the same cast though. They come to SF next week but I will already be gone so I am hoping to catch them on the east coast this winter/spring. Good to hear about Dear Even Hanson though! My sister really wants to see it.

Sorry I was thinking you were seeing shows in NYC!

My dad had the front steps repainted the other day. It rained a little and I noticed they were very slippery even with sneakers on. I mentioned it to my parents and they brushed it off and said just be careful going down the steps. Guess who went tumbling down those steps this morning? Me. Last time this happened (yes it has happened before but they were icy then) I broke my hand. This time I just bruised my arm. *le sigh*

Hello friends! Haven't been on here in absolute ages. I think last time I was on here I was talking about how the new UMass cheer coach had asked me to be back on the team.

Life update time!!

I completed the fall 2016 season with the team, and come spring 2017 semester I had taken on a job, an internship, and two positions within my sorority. After UCA nationals, I got extremely overwhelmed with cheerleading. I decided it was finally time to hang up the Nfinity's for good. I left the team on great terms and the coach was super understanding.

Continuing both the job and internship in the summer, I stayed in Massachusetts instead of going home. Shortly in to the summer, World Cup announced their Connecticut location. It being only 45 minutes away, I had to jump on the opportunity. I am now coaching their small s4 team! Couldn't stay away from cheer for long, so here i am back on the boards and I must say I really did miss the all star community :) I'll be graduating college this May, and hoping to keep cheerleading in my life post grad.

Hope everyone's been doing well!!

Oh, you're totally right about Yael being a knockoff Clare.
I shouldn't be surprised about them mentioning Esme's mom and then just dancing around the topic later on. (Like Kathleen's eating disorder and Caitlyn's epilepsy in the Junior High version.)

The official Degrassi YouTube account has all the Degrassi Junior High (& possibly Degrassi High) episodes uploaded if anyone needs some mindless entertainment...

Kinda relevant. But I follow some of the original degrassi cast on Instagram. I always thought Miriam and daniel were good looking kids on the show. I know weird thought. But geez those two grew up to be two gorgeous human beings.
I still swoon for Daniel today, just like I did back then.
