Camp Woodward??

My CP wants to go but I am very leery of it. One of our friends' daughters was very injured at the camp. According to her story, a one of the most well known gym owners who was there as a guest stepped in and said that she needed acute care and yet the reaction of the camp staff was very slow and she was not properly taken care off until after she returned home five days later. That really worries me, especially since I would be about 7 hours away from the camp if something did happen.

The cost is also prohibitive. Once I did the math and realised that we could do two or more privates each week during the summer with trusted coaches from our gym , sending her away doesn't make much sense.

@mamabear We've definitely heard so many stories about the staff-search em up on Yelp, lol. I vaguely remember one review stating how the nurse essentially has the motto of "Just ice it and rest" for anything and everything. We're hoping for the best with my cp since she's quite cautious when it comes to working new skills-now just to hope the instruction is worth the money! :)

My daughter went to Woodward last year for cheer. They only focus on tumbling. No stunting. They do make up a dance to perform as well. She loved it! But she also attended with a friend like many other kids do. I think having someone you know there helps a lot
