ANY DAD IDEAS? I'm struggling here, yall.

My dad:
late 50s
Likes football (penn state and the Steelers, but I've gotten him gifts based on these in the past 15 years or so I should probably branch out)
likes beer, wine
likes.......his kids? idk

I'm not SUPER close with my dad but still love him of course. Anyone else in the same boat with some good ideas?

My dad is also super hard to shop for. We often get him some activity tickets. Maybe there is a concert he might be interested in, or a museum he'd like to visit, or a beer brewing class (if he is into something like that).

Is there a winery or brewery that he is particularly fond of? My dad fell in love with a winery near my house recently, so I'm getting him a variety of their specialty wines.

Usually my sister and I get my dad the same cologne/aftershave lotion that he likes, but as we've gotten older we have been trying to expand our gift selection...especially because he always flaunts that he knows what we are getting him and he's never surprised. Lol

I got my dad a Man Crate last year and he loved it!

This year I got him a Philly Eagles Fan Box.

As my girls get older, they get less "stuff" and more things they need. They both got Google Chromebooks from their grandparents. Phoebe (17) asked for "experiences" so she got tickets to Red Velvet (a girl Kpop group she likes), and 2 day tumbling camp at CA over winter break. She also got the Jacklyn Hill Morphe palette, an outfit from Pink, some Baylor pullovers, a CD organizer for her car along with some CDs, a Kpop lightstick and some Kpop albums.
Paige (15) got the James Charles palette, Navy gear from Pink, a Nintendo Switch (I got this on Black Friday...it was a challenge y'all), Just Dance 2019, Crocs w/ Jibbitz, and a SandCloud shirt. I also got her a new mouthpiece for her french horn to go in her stocking.
For me I got myself a Chromebook (I actually got this off the Treasure Truck for Phoebe and then found out my ex-inlaws had bought them laptops already), a new Nectar mattress, and bullet journal supplies.

I'm down to buying candy for stockings and I'm done...now I need to wrap stuff!

Does he like to barbeque? Some new tools for the bbq? Or does he have a firepit or chiminea? Some accessories for that?

She loves all things Korea. She eventually wants to move there to teach English. This past summer she saw MonstaX and saved her money for the Meet & Greet (High Touch) after the show. It was declared the best moment of her life.

Ugh...I know. She graduates next year. I've officially been on this board for 9 years. I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

Sadly no to all, he's in an apartment that doesn't allow grilling/fires etc. He does enjoy that kind of stuff though, I'm hoping he will buy a house again one day and get all the above.

I decided on one of the Ancestry DNA kits! I think he will like it.

I like this thread. It's very meaningful, super great.
It seems I am the first one for 2019, hahaha...
OK, I am 32 years old. I ask for a MacBook Pro, I can not stand my old computer anymore.
My husband is 33 years old. he asks for getting another dog.:D
My daughter is 7 years old, I tell her we will give her an inflatable air track as a gift, she is so excited now.
My mom is 59 years old, she asks for a necklace
My dad is 62 years old, he asks for a foot bath machine. That is the one we will send to.;)

This year, my husband and I decided to only do stockings for each otherand set a $25 limit. Gifts aren’t our love language so spending money on them for each other always feels silly. I got him a card game (we love new games), a fishing lure (he is a sport bass fisherman), and some silly dress socks. We also did get a Coravin on Black Friday, so we’re super excited about that!

We tried to cut back on gifts this year and set strict $$$ limits. Definitely took advantage of Black Friday sales this year!

Sister: A benefit mascara gift set - $40
Nephew: Little people house and little people cruise ship - $40
Mom: Dooney and Burke purse - split with my sister - $109 total
Dad: Calloway golf quarter zip - $40 on sale from $80 and some treats - $12
Mother in law: jeans - $40, sweater - $40, electric salt and pepper grinder and salt and pepper - $40 - total: $120 - all split with my husband’s brother/father
Father in law: TV - split with my husband’s brother/mother - $144 total
Husband’s grandparents: leaf blower - $50 on sale from $80
My grandparents: a gift card for a restaurant - $50
Dog: Bully sticks - $35, squeaky toys - $8, treats - $15
