Eventually when I can I am also going to post this in the All-Star cheer section to get even more opinions. I am working on a project that will hopefully assist me in working towards being an athletic trainer at an all-star cheer gym. I am looking for responses and opinions in regards to these questions:
Why is it valuable in your eyes to have an AT onsite at a gym?
How do you feel they can assist the gym?
I am looking for all opinions. I would really like to hear from coaches, athletes, parents, gym owners, etc. If you comment, please say which one you are. This will truly help me!

I’d recommend checking with CheerMed Physio and rehab on their Facebook and seeing if they’d be willing to answer some of your questions. They’re a company of mostly former cheerleaders who are now physics, Chiron, RMT’s , etc. who work based out of cheer gyms in Ontario. If this is the route you want to go professionally, they will have all of the information for you

I’ve looked into them and read what they are about. I may ask them more logistic questions, but right now I am looking for more personal opinions from parents, athletes and coaches about how they would feel having an AT in their gym or not. Thank you for the info though.

We don't have an athletic trainer on staff at our gym but we do have a chiropractor who travels with the team and treats anything that she can. I love having her around. I think just knowing she is there gives my Hotmess a little relief, even when she does not need treated.
