Should I switch?

The season has started and I have had a few practices with my new team. Last year I was with this gym but we didn’t place well, I was thinking of switching gyms but I later changed my mind. Now I have changed my mind and want to switch but I feel like if I do I will be betraying them. That gym I want to go to is close to me so driving is not a problem, but I’m not sure what I should do and I don’t want to wait a whole season to switch. I also have not been having fun at practices. I have been thinking of visiting the gym and see if I could try out a practice with one of their teams to se if i like it their. I’m also not very good at tumbling and I am still working on my backhandspring I think this gym will really help me with that. What should I do? Pls help me as I need to decide soon!
 
It’s early so now is the time to move if you’re sure you want to.

Go to the other gym and feel it out. It would have been better to have done that before you rejoined your gym for this season, but it is still early enough that if it is a better fit for you then by all means go for it. Did you have to sign any kind of contract with your current gym?

I do remember having my mom sign a form/package at our team orientation but I believe it was just a waiver.
 
I would suggest you visit the other gym to gain more perspective. Then you can weigh the pros and cons. I would also suggest that you talk to your coach(es). They may also be able to bring more perspective to your decision. Maybe they can also help you with whatever is leaving you slightly dissatisfied.
