Is the show on break? Sat around watching Dance Moms for it not to come on. Lifetime's schedule doesn't show it for the next two weeks but Google shows more episodes?

I watched the latest episode Wed night. It was Ole Miss at College Nationals. I've had an episode every week since it started, though it's just set to record on the DVR, so I'm not sure when it's on.

LIFETIME has now decided to air the rest of the series on Th, 9/26 from 8a-1p for Cheerleader Generation episodes 106-110. The next day, September 27th, all of the episodes will also be available online on

Can’t believe it did that bad very unfortunate

I think this stuff has more of a chance on niche sites like Varsity or even YT. Also it might not have been destined to do well at all, as much as I hate to say it. Cheerleader Nation did not get renewed for a second season the first time around — meaning interest was limited back then — and now it’s fifteen years later and most of the small audience it managed to appeal to years ago has probably forgotten all about it.

Prefacing this with I don't watch the show but this doesn't have to be the end of the road and Lifetime moving the episodes online could actually be a good thing.

A lot of people are ditching cable and consumer habits for TV is moving towards on-demand/binge type of viewing, not "tune-in weekly". If the views pickup online, they could find a reason to move it to a platform that serves a niche market better, like @Sterling von Shimmer said.

I think you'll start seeing that more and more "original content" will get picked up by platforms like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc, even if the ratings aren't stellar, because they need to fill ever-increasing content quotas. Netflix, in particular, is in a bit of a bad spot since Disney is creating their own streaming platforms and will be pulling their high-demand content like Pixar, Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel stuff in the upcoming years. Netflix needs to fill those slots to keep viewers and they're adapting by changing their model to quantity-of-content over quality-of-content. That's why they are pushing out more and more less-than-amazing original content and why B and C-grade programming, like Cheerleader Generation, might have a shot at getting picked up if Lifetime doesn't want it.
