Their coach claims they’re the first team to compete an extended hand-in-hand with a twisting pop through:

“Extended” is a generous term though, the flyers don’t quite hit the stunt with the bases fully-extended.

And almost none of them actually do the half turn until they’re caught. Still extremely impressive. But it’s more like catch and turn rather than turn and catch. (If i’m reading the tweet correctly).

Sorry for the double post, but does anybody have a video of Orange?? I cant find one anywhere

has anyone got the full vid of BSB? i saw on twitter they scored a 99.5/99.1 at their first comp...

SassyCats are INSANE. There’s like 10 elements in their routine I’ve straight up never seen before. It is crazy to me they found a way to do brand new skills, but also to destroy the score sheet. It’s literally the most impressive cheerleading routine I have seen in years and years, regardless of level. Its bonkers.

Finally a vid of Orange!

I like how sharp they look, can’t say the same about the video quality. [emoji849]

I see arguments about how much simpler Orange’s stunts are compared to other LS6 teams, but people always underestimate how difficult front handspring half-ups are, then to drop down into cradle, lifted into a vertical handstand and pop back up with NO pauses.

Great Whites at Cheer for the Cure:

I think we've recently talked about how boring Level 6 (still getting used to this being the new Level 5) have become, but Great Whites have a GREAT pyramid! Their stunting (like BSB) for the past several years has consistently upgraded in terms of difficulty and innovation and I'm living for them! Watch if you haven't! This is also the cleanest I've seen them this early!

i get the feeling that great whites will massively upgrade the pyramid. It looks super watered down to me.

My only criticism re: Beatles:

I say this every year but I am not a fan of props, banners, hoops, etc.

All I can see in my head is prop mishaps waiting to happen.

Solid routine otherwise.

Absolutely living for their ode to the classic cheers/jump sequences circa 2005-2012. I miss when teams had the cheer +motions section and for some reason, it really bothers me that Level 6 teams don't need to do jumps to tuck to max out anymore.
