College “cheer” On Netflix: It’s A Hit

Drowsiness is one of the side effects of Toradol.

Interestingly, there is at least 1 study that states that Ketorolac is as effective (if not moreso) than morphine. It's a fantastic NSAID, when used properly. The fact that these football players were lining up for their shot is extremely negligent.
Anything to keep them in the game. They'd all be better off being legally allowed to smoke weed after games for the pain. Twenty years from now they are going to find out that all these pain relievers they injected into these players game after game causes some kind of cancer, and that too will be kept as quiet as possible just like the CTE findings were hushed for so long.

According to her Instagram, Gabi is back on Navarro. I can't help but wonder if that's directly related to the popularity of the show, because at the beginning of the cheer season she seemed like she really wanted to stay in Florida

It seems like most of the returners came back after the show took off. Sucks for the ones who have been there since the beginning of the season and may now not make the mat. It seems she is staying on OO so we shall see how long that last.

I‘m not sure how I feel about all that
I love the show and I think the kids are great but I do feel like the kids that came in new this season and the ones that were not featured on the show are now kinda in the shadow and that just can’t be so great for the overall vibe within the program
Hopefully the don’t get too distracted this close to Daytona and can go back to their actual practices soon

So it’s fun to see them on all these YouTube videos and talk shows and at the Oscars (?!) but, um, as college cheerleaders... you actually have to, you know, be in college.
I’m confused how they’re going to classes and doing all this publicity.
I’m assuming most of the publicity stuff is in LA. So unless they did one crazy week of publicity and it’s all being released sporadically, or they’re being flown out on weekends, how are they going to their classes? I’m especially confused on how Gabi can be back on the team but still be on Double O in Florida?
I’m very aware online classes are a thing, but they can’t all be taking full course loads online? Does Navarro have a bunch of online classes? Or are the professors just super lax?
Plus the other responsibilities that go along with cheer, like practices and cheering at games?
I’m confused.

I'm with you on that one
I saw Gabi and Lexi were at a fashion show, Jerry was at the Oscars, the rest was somewhere else
Daytona is less than 2 months away so it really confuses me as to how they actually work on their routine right now?
Or maybe the rest of the team is back at the gym?
Also while i do have the utmost respect for Gabi i find it a little weird that she is back now whenever like a week ago she was still saying she won't be back.
I mean i get it it's a huge huge opportunity and no one would turn all this stuff down , and i feel like no one expected for the show to become this much of a a success ....
But for the program itself and their actual purpose , competing at Daytona, this must be very difficult.

All of this! I took 4 online classes last semester while working full time during the day and wanted to pull my hair out. Anyway I can see with those who wasn’t previously on the team at the beginning of the year and now magically back pushing Varsity to make a new eligibility rule. Varsity did it a few years ago when Memphis won D1A a few years ago.

Well, Jerry is an alternate, and Lexi is a tumbler, so the team can probably practice stunts without them. Maybe since they took a full team this fall, the show kids are the "show team", and not super integral to Daytona? It will be interesting to see who is on the mat this year.

A friend the other day who is actually a dance coach: "Okay but when are these folks practicing though?"

It HAS to be an arrangement like this. Otherwise, I do not see how full practices are happening.

Maybe I'm nuts but the coach in me would want to have them stop all publicity type appearances til at least Spring Break.

But then you'd get into the "can you tell kids what to do with their personal time?" debate.

I certainly want them to get all the financial benefits of this show while it's hot (they were mostly all just broke students before this) but Daytona is coming.

Plus let's be honest-if they bomb in Daytona it's going to be a huge deal and mega embarrassing. There's a lot on the line, and I feel like the pressure to win has to be even worse now. These are things that would keep me up at night if I were Monica (says the person that woke up at 3am this morning to work on our routine).

I wish they’d follow TVCC some too. It would be fun to see a glimpse of their competitor.

Saw a comment either in the Crazy Moms group or on Gabi's FB page that they are following TVCC for season 2. Don't know if it's accurate though.

I think they were just saying they love TVCC, but that would be cool!

The comment I saw specifically said season 2 is TVCC. I just saw it again on Gabi's page lol. But someone after said film crews are in Corsicana so who knows?!
