My daughter has a project regarding her college choices and why- she is young so not ready for college yet. She is looking for recommendations for NCA Style All Girl Cheer colleges. We don’t follow much college- all about Allstar currently. Let me know “the best”!

Lousiville, Davenport, California Baptist, Oklahoma Baptist, and Alma are some of the first to come to mind. I can definitely give more options depending on what shes looking for. Is she focused solely on quality of the cheer team/chance of winning? Does she care what division theyre in or size the school is?

Always an NC State fan they have all girl and small coed. She could also look into small coed options she will still have the opportunity to base on small coed and fly on small coed so it adds to her pool of options.

What do you mean by "the best"? Answers will vary greatly. By the best do you mean who wins a lot at NCA - which is one weekend a year? Or do you mean cheering for a college who's football/basketball teams are consistent national contenders? Or do you mean a college that has an amazing game day atmosphere no matter what the team's record is? Or do you mean a college cheer program that is part of a highly ranked educational university, and/or allows a really great balance of cheer and other activities such as greek life, university ambassadorships, etc.
As you can see, it's hard to give you an answer to this question because the best means many different things depending on what you value!

Louisville is one example. Not only is Louisville one of the top large coed teams but also has one of the top all-girl teams as well. Check it out.

If I could do it again, I would love to cheer for California Baptist. Love the program!

University of South Carolina! We have both an all girl and coed team that compete in 1A at NCA every year. We also get to cheer SEC football, and all-girl cheers for one of the best women’s basketball teams in the country. I’m biased, but I love our program and USC! We definitely aren’t a school where if you make the team it is cheerleading 24/7, our coaches are great at helping us balance being a student athlete while also enjoying the college experience. We are always able to go and stunt/tumble on our off days if we want (and a lot of us do!) but we also have the ability to join Greek life and be involved with other organizations on campus as well :)

That’s awesome. Would you happen to have an AG UCA list up your sleeve? :)

Thanks everyone. These are great. I’m going to have her start researching them. And narrowing down the list. she wants: All girl nca with a football program somewhat close to home (east coast). Hyper specific she is!! But this is a great spot for her to start.

Their all girl team is a club team. The teams that cheer at athletics is small coed and gamely
