Well that was rude as hell.
And from what I gather, cheerlebrities are celebrated because they’re good. Even the one who got famous because of her meme — not her skills — turned out to be one of the most talented cheerlebrities out there. So IDK what that’s even about.
What is this “helping” the sport and “inspiring”’others? That’s a lofty responsibility to put on teens who just signed up to cheer.
And yeah they probably wouldn’t be famous if social media wasn’t around. But it is, so they are. What’s her point? That’s like saying Victor Rosario wouldn’t have a successful gym if he sucked at cheer. It’s probably true, but that’s not the case. So why even bother with that completely useless hypothetical?
Miserable people are exhausting.
Tye is a guy, was an incredible tumbler. Not sure what he is doing these days and that post is old. Probably pre KP and RC days.
I believe he is still coaching at CA Charlotte, at least that's where he was, actually have no idea anymore. He is probably my all time favorite cheerleader and is an absolute legend in cheer. While that post is very old, I still couldn't agree with it more. Definitely don't find it anywhere close to rude.Tye is a guy, was an incredible tumbler. To this day, this is still one of my favorite tumbling videos, even if it is potato quality. Tye is someone who I have always looked up to as an athlete.
This makes me miss Wildcats' 2009 routine. Ending the routine on the floor after the basket tosses is so cool.
I always chuckle when people don’t have any clue who the legends are.
Freely admit: no clue. I only started paying attention to AS cheer again in 2017, around when I joined the board. So recognising Santwon’s name in that guy’s post was a big deal for me yesterday lol.
Tye Hill is arguably the first cheerlebrity. At the very least, he was among the very first. Pure athlete, amazing cheerleader. Honestly...his post was extremely true for the time period it was posted. Actually, still a little true today.
