Didn’t think I would be saying this but bring back the Alvin and the Chipmunks giant A sweater uniform back.LOVE lady reign. such a cute uni and the butterfly is the perfect touch to honor a teammate who passed. super cute

How are those neck/chest straps going to work when their arms are up? All scrunched in and muddled?
Which is another problem I’ve had with Rebel from the start: it’s like sometimes they don’t consider that the unis have to accomodate movement instead of just looking good on a static model (I know the coaches designed the unis but we didn’t see this disregard for the physicality of cheer until Rebel stepped on the scene).

I don't know who did the TGLC one that was basically a tube top with arm bands (someone has to know what I'm talking about) but that is one that comes to mind.
It's not really Rebel. I think it's on some level a function of social media becoming almost more important than cheer itself.
Ex: Designers, athletes, staff in general, wanting the uni or practicewear to look good for The Gram/VSCO/Snap moreso than function well.
How many times have you seen a practicewear get tons of likes and heart eyes but you can't figure out who can actually practice in it bc it doesn't look functional?

Reigns are so cute I like them a lot, but I wish the sleeves were full, I have mixed feelings about them. The little detail is super cute, but I'm also not sure how I feel about them. LOLLOVE lady reign. such a cute uni and the butterfly is the perfect touch to honor a teammate who passed. super cute

F5 uni is very cute, but it does not look very bra-friendly to me...i might just be dumb though

Yeah I just meant as far as uniforms go, when Varsity was the main tastemaker nothing got this crazy. And if unis did get crazy (like with TG or Cheer Savannah) people noticed and generally shied away. Now it’s like a competition to see who can top each other in the unreasonable department, with Rebel leading the charge.
I really appreciate that Rebel kind of reinvented what cheer unis could be, but there still needs to be an underlying respect for what the hell we’re even doing here. When I opened my first Rebel catalog, my initial thought was, “How are they supposed to nugget in these?”

Nooo I love that! It's one of the few uniforms that's unique without being an awful themed uniform or crazy revealing. It's their signature!
