"Deductions" for missed Skills

I thought that one girl on senior elite got a deduction for throwing a tuck ( still an amazing pass )

Which event? When I said there wasn't a USASF rule I meant there wasn't a rule that applied to all USASF sanctioned events. I don't know if there is an omission deduction at Worlds.

I think worlds is an execution event. While.no deduction, i imagine one omitted skill lowered slightly the execution value.

But her tuck was executed beautifully...

Touche. So maybe off.difficulty? Overall impression?

a lot of score sheets don't count out of level tumbling or it will start way lower in the difficulty score, either way you score less, but its not a deduction per se

I think it MAY have been Athletic Championships - Or maybe Jamfest, but one competition stated they dont count skills that are outside of the level that are thrown - For example - Level 3 - Last year we had a few Round off Multiple Backhandsprings starting off our running tumbling section across the floor. We took them out and added transitional motions. Im assuming we scored higher because we ONLY threw level 3 skills vs some level 2 skills.

i like the idea of only getting scored for level appropriate skills.

although that would make for a grey area in level 4 to 5 stunting.

That's why there's talk of reducing what can be done in level 4. There isn't much of a difference right now.

Our tumbling on Day 2 was actually better. Standing was cleaner, and there were actually more doubles by one on Day 2 in spite of the omission. It's just the fact it was the first pass. Overall score was down due to the bobble, fall and a sloppier pyramid.

i would imagine though in tumbling especially that often is not the case

i missed some commas in that post. here they are ,,,,,
