Worlds is absolutely AMAZING. if you can go, go. you wont regret it. make sure you get there early enough to get a seat, lol, it's ridiculous trying to find a seat when certain teams are competing...

And for the record, it's not that expensive to go as a spectator. I've driven and flown. And the most I've spent on the entire weekend down there was probably less than $350. I think when we drove I spent like $200. You can get REALLY good deals on hotels down there, like $100 or less a night. And there are shuttles on all of the Disney property that can take you to and from the Milkhouse or whatever it's called now.

100% Go!! I have been going since 2007 and I will continue to go every year! The only thing I hate about worlds is the seat saving LOL!! But thats a conversation in itself!

Please take her! Im 17 so Im not allowed to go alone yet and my mom and I fight every day about whether or not we can go. Im sure your daughter will have the time of her life and it will make you seem like the best mom ever. Hope to see you there!

Defo! I have been to a good few competitions in the UK/Europe & Malaysia but Worlds is the best experience for anyone into cheerleading ever!! All booked for this year too - Go Team Ireland!

What is a good hotel (inexpensive would be great) to stay at if you go just to watch and how early should you get there if you want a good seat!!!

honestly if you want to get a good seat i would show up at least an hour early for the division you want to watch because you have to factor in parking and buying a ticket plus you'll be there just in time for another division to end and those seats will become available

take her! its the best experience, especially if she wants to be a lvl 5 cheerleaders. it's so exciting to see everyone compete. i was going to go and watch one year but ended up competing instead. you are entertained the entire time and its amazing. def take her! lol i don't cheer allstars anymore and i'm trying to get there to watch....i'd love to compete though ahah

There really are tons of cheap hotels around, and The Wide World of Sports is so close to I-4 that you can be there in 10 minutes from anywhere. I took my cp as a 9 year old to watch. It really motivated her!! She returned as an 11 year old to watch and then again as a 12 year old to compete on Junior 5. It really helped her to know what to expect ahead of time!

I agree with Tealfan, it really can be done cheap. I flew from St. Louis, split a rental car, split a hotel room, and ate in Milkhouse all weekend. Just buy the $25 per day admission into the Wide World of Sports and you won't have to worry about Disney passes.

Depending on your daughters age, you might want to think about her ability to sit still for 12 hours watching cheer. If she is a die hard fan she will love it. If she loses interest quickly you will be miserable if she complains the whole time. I'm lucky that mine was a die hard at a young age :).

If you have the time/money then definetly go! My reccomendation is to go on the worlds package and stay at the allstar resort. It just adds to the experience getting to see everyone around the resort practicing and such. Not to mention its convenient and cost efficient. HAVE FUN:)

i went last year & it was one of the best weekends of my life. because you're not a competitor, it's stress free and you get to do and watch whatever and whoever you please. my best friend & i are both "cheer freaks" and we got there so early in the morning to get the front row seat on the left of the mat. it was an unbelievable experience & we're going again this year! absolutely go!!

If you can go you definately should. There's nothing like it.
