I have a tendency to take things a little too seriously

Good luck on the board.. Though it might not have been apparent, but there was a lot of old teasing going on from other threads and other topics between people that you just did not know about since you are new. As you hang around, you will see that go on. Try not to react to stuff until you really get a feel for the place. And try not to call names.

Hey all! New to the board-my daughter and son both cheer for allstar (ages 11 and 4) and we are really just getting started with the sport and getting to know it. Looking forward to learning!

Hello all you newbies. I'm a cheer mom who loves my girl and all my cheerleaders! Having lots of spirit is what I do like promote. Being good role models for the older kids on our team is important too. Those little ones are very impressionable!!

How do you handle a cheer mom who always tries to start drama or an argument? Ugh, it's exhausting. It takes away from the fun! The cheerleaders aren't the only ones who want to have fun!
