How are the expectations higher for Small Limited!? Small Senior is one of the hardest divisons to win in because it's STACKED. Orange, Cali, Panthers, Diamondz, CEA, and many many other teams. And if the technique is there, then a boy won't hold the team back.

Haha I said in our area. AACS, KC, and KCAC are all in that division and theyre from the same city.
Plus, judges expect more from coed teams IMO

We're trying to go reg level 5, but the expectations for small limited are much higher than small senior (at least in the area), going small limited would destroy the team, yet as small all girl they have a shot.
Then find the comps in your area that not all the other small ltd's will be there. I know that our small ltd. doesnt go to every local competition, and it is rare that they ever even have competition when they do compete locally

I know that our gym has had this problem. We have had a few boys come to us this year at different time and we had no where to put them in fear of having to go co-ed. Luckily in our state we have good relationships with other gyms and we have sent them to the only few places that have enough boys to go co-ed. I feel a younger boy isn't going to be much of an advantage and one boy will not make or break a team. And as a coach understanding from a gym owner point, it hurts business. I think that Jrs should be able to have a boy on the team and not be co-ed, boys haven't peaked yet at this age.
