*Seeing the Fancy Face Cosmetics uniform walking around the competition... it looked amazing! What a wonderful marketing tool (No, Fancy Face does not have their own team (haha), several people were asking & we want to make sure no one's confused!)

*Also, our first gym to wear the makeup, ULTIMATE ATHLETICS, had their Small Junior Coed 5 team, WIN this weekend!!! They went from 7th to 1st and did it beautifully!! And when they were taking pictures with their jackets on their makeup still looked amazing, even after crying tears of joy!!! Congratulations kids!!!

Unfortunetly, I wasn't at NCA this year, but it still seemed like an amazing weekend! Some highlights:
-Fierce chat :)
-Seeing so much passion on these threads...it reminded me how much we all love cheerleading
-WC Starlites and Shooting Stars- both of them brought the house (well mine at least ;) )down. The routines were soo beautiful, and actually left me speechless
-CA Wildcats...just wow..

Well just being there was amazing. Esp later in the day in the arena when all the big names were going and the crowd was crazy. My favorite moments were watching Starlites, Cali sm senior and F5 kill their routines day 1. It was amazing. Also watching @HeyimA during stars was quite entertaining as well.

My first time at NCA and just as a spectator, so the whole weekend was an amazing moment. But hearing thousands yell, hit, hit, hit, pull! was chilling. I'm sure it's nothing to all of you, but it was great to watch all the fun and great performances this weekend. Congratulations to everyone for fantastic performances!
No I loved that too <3

I've had so many "best" NCA moments. They have always been the most significant at the time. This year was different. Her last NCA because she is a senior. Pulling out a stunning performance to clench first place. Her 6th NCA jacket. I will miss you NCA!!

Where do I begin?? First of all, we are a fairly new gym only in our 3rd year. We decided to take a chance and put a team together to compete at NCA and give our kids the experience of a lifetime. We've been practicing one day a week since November. Our kids were very intimidated and nervous when they got to Dallas. The first moment I will never forget was watching them take the mat on Saturday, I was trying to hold back the tears. We had a few mistakes so we patiently waited for our score. We found out we were in 1st place and you would have thought we won right then! On Sunday they performed even better and the excitement on their faces was awesome. So now on to awards. This was a blur to me, but the moment they called 2nd place and it wasn't us, we all lost it. I just remember a big blur of hugs, screams, and crying. We did it!!! Watching my kids get sized for their first NCA jacket and then standing on the Champions Club stage was priceless! It still doesn't feel real to me! But the best moment was my kids realizing that they are good enough and that hard work really does pay off! This whole weekend was simply amazing and I'm so glad we decided to take this chance!
serious chills reading this <3

seeing my babies and my best friend move up from 7th place to 1st and bringing home the first nca jackets in illinois <3

Watching both of my girls win jackets. This was my youngest daughters first year as a competitor as well as several others on her squad. The look of overwhelming joy and accomplishment on the kids, coaches and the parents faces was a sight I will remember for years to come. I know several of the kids on our youth squad actually slept in thier jackets.

But the thing I saw that really put things in perspective for myself and others was watching the special needs teams perform. Thier enthusiasm as well as the crowds was well worth the price of going for us, win or lose.
