All-Star Worlds 2011 - Bracket Scoring

On the USASF worlds coverage website it says TG got 2nd

42 when TG IOC6 is 2nd place
39 when TG IOC6 is 3rd place
If we got 1 point for naming top 3 but in the incorrect order, 45.

At most sporting events if there is a tie for place, the next place goes vacant. I think @ACEDAD already stated this somewhere.

So if tie for 1st, the next place should be 3d. I don't know how they would justify 2d unless it's just to make them feel better.

the results on the iasf worlds website show a tie for 1st, TG in 2nd and Texas in 3rd. Didn't something similar happen in small limited? 3 teams in 7th, but they still awarded 8th, 9th and 10th...

I believe I have about 37? But not positive.

For a sport, that is a screwed up way of doing it. If you think of it this way, with a 3-way tie for 7th, the next team did not earn 8th place.

54 if i did it right with the whole Gymtyme/Bangkok +Top Gun situation or did we have to have Bangkok and Gymtyme right top get full credit if we didn't then I got 49

Sure! 36 if we are counting TG IOC6 as 3rd, 34 if we are counting them as 2nd.

We will base it on what color medal Tog Gun took home. Anyone from TG care to say if they have a silver or bronze from IOC6?

I believe I got 52! But of someone wants to double check my bracket is on the 3rd page

IF you got the first place team correct, add 5. if you got 2nd correct, add 3. If you got 3rd correct, add 2. If you got ALL 3 in a SINGLE division. Then add 6.

Depending on how you were classifying the IOC6 bracket, and accounting for errors in counting. I am a college acting major, I don't do math

I thought I did really well, but I completely bombed LS/SS..
