Vinny still owns NJ Cheer Factory - the gym where Comet All Stars was out of. Patty Anne is now going to run the All Star program out of that gym. It was already stated that it's not really a merger.

I personally know Katiecomet would never use this as an excuse to jump ship. I was also there from the beginning with the comets. I will always have the dearest memories of my time coaching there. Katie you are a fantastic cheerleader and a super talented coach! Goodluck at WorldCup! <3

NJ Cheer Factory is once again the home of the Comet All Stars. All cheerleaders practicing in this location will continue to practice under the direction of the current coaches.
Any cheerleaders interested in joining the Comet family are urged to contact the gym or myself to come in for team placement. There will be a team for all athletes of ALL levels.
All other services and classes provided by NJCF will continue as normal. NJCF is currently expanding and will be introducing new programs throughout the summer.

They should of been filming this week! That would of been good.
Apparently Patty Ann had a meeting with Comets yesterday, she walked into the gym and said I can't take your money cause I have nothing in writing, I can't do this turned around, walked out, got in her car and hightailed it right on out of there. If you are the owners of either one of those programs, how in the world could you let something like this happen. Imagine how devastated those kids from Comets must be that they think everything's all fine but their owners couldn't communicate with one another like professional businesspeople, and get the ball rolling enough to get something in writing, so now when these parents think they're having a meeting about what's going on this year, they get kicked to the curb. I hope I don't have all the facts and there's a great underlying reason as to why this happened cause that is just a terrible thing to have done to children on both ends. On the CJA side, you got kids thinking their gym is expanding and your gunna have a bunch of new sisters in your family, and on the Comets side, you think your going to get welcomed into an organization and be able to do something great in the all star world. And then NOPE!!! The carpet gets yanked right out from under you and your left sitting in the dark like now what? I just think it's a despicable thing to do to children if there's no other reason then "I don't have anything in writing right now". Well if u really wanna give these kids a home and expand your business. Get it in writing. Craziness. Well, that being said I really do hope things work out for both of these programs, because to start the year with this much drama has to be wearing on these coaches, parents, and especially children. Hopefully this could be put behind them and they can overcome.

Isn't it better this happened than in September or October when teams are in full swing and thousands of dollars would have have been spent by the parents and it would've been all for nothing or make for a potentially disorganized and disruptive season?
This way, there's still plenty of time and still choices on whether to stay, go to another team or just drop out all together.
Makes sense this failed takeover or whatever you want to call it happened now.

It is indeed better it happened now than later. Absolutely correct. However, a responsible business owner would have ironed out all the details BEFORE having meeting upon meeting with parents telling them they are going to be CJA and all of this. How are you going to take 90% of the steps they took without having something set in stone, in writing. It makes no sense to do that to these kids I'm sorry. It absolutely could have and SHOULD have been handled differently.

It does sound like it could've been handled differently on the business side. Who knows. More importantly, it's better now than later when a lot of parents money would've been tied into a gym with no direction. At least now, there's time for the families to make choices.
I absolutely agree with you. Because if it would've been done later then they just would've been terrible people no if's, and's, or but's about it. And like i said earlier, I hope that I don't have it completely right because that would mean that they just are irresponsible businesspeople. But I feel like no matter which way you slice it, they did not have to put these people (especially the kids) through this in the first place if they would've had all the business end stuff done before they even started announcing to people that they were going to be one big CJA.
