When teams have really slow/boring routines because their coaches won't teach them anything a little more advanced

When music isn't mixed well, and the sound effects are so much louder than the rest of the routine, you go deaf.

- WHEN PEOPLE DON'T DO THEIR TUMBLING WHEN THEIR TOLD TO.
It effects the rest of the team. Then we have to do the routine over and over and over and over and over and over again.
- Flyers who blame on the bases and the opposite.
-People who give up. Also effects the rest of the team.

Sorry, I got so preoccupied with replying to another comment that I didn't answer the actual thread, lol.

Pet Peeves:

1) Wearing Uggz while wearing your uniform........that irks me to my core!

2) Unzipped/unbuttoned uniforms. You're in public, please dress as such.

3) Athletes that talk to their parents like they are children or incompetent........I see this too often at competitions....NO RESPECT!

4) BAD SPORTMANSHIP: "If we didn't drop that stunt we would have won"............... oh get over it. You dropped it and you lost, don't try to minimize or belittle the other teams win. They hit and you didn't, better luck next time.

5) ILLEGAL PLAYERS: Gyms using illegal athletes on teams. It's not that serious........In the end, cheaters never prosper.

6) Rude Fans/Cheer Moms/Cheer Dads: No matter what the situation, there's no need to yell obscenities in a arena full of young athletes. There's no need to bash another gym in the stands. And there's def no reason to discuss the inner workings of your gym. Let in house issues remain in house........this is how rumors are started.

7) The "FAKE" Injury: The girl/guy that messes up in the routine (falls from a stunt, touch down on tumbling, etc) and in order to soften the blow, they fake an injury the moment the music ends, or they can't breathe all of a sudden. Why be so dramatic?? You messed up, try harder next time.

8) People that don't like F5 Jason! How can you NOT like him? He's amazing.......

9) Popcorn People: I can't stand when girls/guys are bouncing all over the floor. Just bouncing for no reason. Walking to their spot....they're bouncing. Coming out of a cradle......they're bouncing. Doing an approach for a jump....oh yes....you guessed it.....they're bouncing. STOP BOUNCING. You look like a Jumping Bean sheesh!

10) Mad Bumpers: LOL. I hate the people that get mad when you bump them while walking in the hallway of a national competition. Mind you, there's like 20,000 people here, and about half of them are walking in the hall right now. If you get bumped, just keep moving. You're not going to die because someone touched your uniform. I promise you still have your magical powers.

I'm going to stop at 10 but I could go on forever, lol.

this completly made my day ive been laughing for 5 minutes especially 9 and 10 im going to say number 10 too the next person who does that at a competition!

My Cheer Pet Peeves:
1.) When cheerleaders behave badly when in uniform. I mean, if you're in uniform and representing your gym, you shouldn't be cussing every 5 seconds. You are representing your team and are also considered a role model for the younger cheerleaders.
2.) When people wear Uggs, sweatpants, pj's, etc to award ceremonies. It just looks sloppy.
3.) Male Flyers. It just looks kinda...odd. No offense.
4.) Know-it-All Cheer Parents. The ones that think they know everything there is to know about stunts, tumbling, etc.
5.) Pushy Cheer Parents. The ones that push their kid too hard and complain when their child doesn't do something right or messes up in the routine. I mean, your child is probably already stressed out and anxious at a competition, why make it worse?
6.) Teams that take forever to get set when they're on the stage.
7.) When you try to say something nice to other teams and they look at you weird.
8.) When parents talk trash about the team that their kid is on! I mean if you hate the gym and coaches so much, why are you still there?
9.) When cheerleaders don't do any type of facial. You are supposed to look like you are having fun on the mat, so can't you at least crack a smile? Don't look like you're bored to death.
10.) When people treat level 1 or 2 teams like sh*t. They are still a team. They still try hard to win. They might just have not been in cheerleading for 9 years like the people on a level 5 team.
11.) When people talk trash about other teams at a competition. Ever heard of good sportsmanship?
12.) When teams cheer after 2nd place is announced just because they know they won 1st. Can you wait 2 seconds please and let the 2nd place team have their glory?
13.) When a cheerleader's uniform is wayyy too big or wayyy too little on them. Get it fitted correctly.
14.) When teams won't get off the mat after their practice time is done. Ok, your 5 minutes is up, don't try working those baskets 2 or 3 more times. Another team is behind you waiting to get their time on the mat.
15.) When cheerleaders talk back to their coaches.
16.) When people don't show up to practice! Hello, it effects the rest of your team!
17.) When coaches favor certain kids.
18.) When announcers pronounce your team's name wrong or call your team something else.
19.) When competition shirts are $30 bucks. It takes what, $3 to make them?
20.) When parents save seats at competition and get snappy with you when you try and sit in them.
21.) When cheerleaders wear their uniform top and jeans. It just looks trashy.
22.) When people say cheerleading is NOT a sport! Ughhh. It SOOOO is! Especially competitive cheerleading.
23.) When I say I cheer, people automatically assume it's for my school. Then when I tell them that it isn't, they think I'm on some sort of crappy rec team.
24.) Expensive spectator fees at competitions!!
25.) When parents brag excessively about their child's skills to other parents. Stop it!!!
Yeah, I think that pretty much sums it up. Lol.

-not pointed toes
-crossed ancles in double downs
-backspotters that do nothing
-bad motions
-people that dont smile on the floor
-people that swing their arms when transitioning

-when girls wear more than one sports bra
-bows that are too big
-overweight girls in crop uniforms (I know it sound mean but c'mon coaches, wen ordering uniforms please think of everyone!!)

And I think everyone else pretty much summed up all of my other pet peeves

1. Some girls need more support than one sports bra can give.

2. Bows can NEVER be too big.

3. I doubt a coach is gonna change the uniform every year just because of that.
I mean like when girls just wear multiple sports bras to make it look like they have a bigger bust.
