As Courtney said in an old post somewhere - They used the basis of this past years routine based on finding the 'formula' the year prior of finding a 'World Champion' Routine. Since that didnt work this year year (They still would have gotten 3rd with or witout the fall) her mind is open to creativity and a new formula to blow everyone out of the water. I can tell you from what I saw - They arent playing, and a 'New' style of CEA music would fit them perfectly.

Now, to get back on topic... My song selection vote goes for going with a whole new look and feel of Senior Elite!

maybe for coed elite? it just sounds very masculine. and could we not have sealed our lips about sealing our lips? i never understand why people say they know something but aren't going to share it. it's like that scene in "despicable me" where he makes the little kid a balloon animal and then pops it right after. and i wouldn't underestimate f5, panthers, or wc quite yet. everyone's motivated for different reasons. f5 wants to maintain their title, wc wants to return to their gold they knew so well for 3 years, and panthers will no doubt come right back into large senior not skipping a beat.

I personally thing it's very tasteless and completely unnecessary (yet never commented on it until now) for a coach to make a comment about hoping Senior Elite would fall at worlds and when someone replied to him, he said something along the lines of "I'll take a win any way I can" (not his exact quote, but I'm not searching for it at the moment, but it's still there). Do you consider that polite and tactful? For the most part I think he's a funny poster and I don't really care if he likes CEA or not, so his dislike doesn't bother me.

I can definitely see though, how StarshipTrooper could potentially be upset w/him and rightfully so when those kinds of comments are made, don't you agree? Do you think it's appropriate for a coach to say things like that, especially considering the number of threads always talking about sportsmanship. We're constantly talking about how the program/gym and parents should lead by example and teach kids proper sportsmanship, but when you see things like that...you just have to wonder ya know?

Now being a sensible person, I don't blame an entire gym for one person's actions..even if he is a coach, because he's not the owner or head coach, but I think comments like that are really out of line for a coach.

Fierce Board, where you are free to be a hater on whoever you want! But you can't just badmouth.

Example: Stingray Spice last year just had a weak tumbling team. I am surprised they didn't get lower (opinion with some obvious observation).

Everyone on Stingray Spice doesn't shower and I heard all their girls are mean (this would be unnacceptable... notice this is the 'G' version. usually I will leave this up so a coach or team member can respond. Solid thought our responses usually quiet any of this silliness... but if the statement is truly hurtful I will kill it).

PS - remember these were just examples and Spice really was amazing
