All-Star Who Was the First....

I'm sure there are very small unknown teams out there that have competed skills at smaller all star competitions that don't get noticed until a more well known team competes them at a larger scale competition.

I know my program was VERY small and we were competing reverse passes back in 02 (which I realize someone posted Brad C. did them in 99-00). I personally have a very strong gymnastics background and I got the idea from Dominque Dawes (92 & 96 Olympian) who made reverse passes popular in 1992. I'm sure I'm not the only coach from a very small program that has done unique skills :) .

This thread is definitely interesting.

Funny you say that....I attempted a standing full in 8th grade back in 1992 at a regional...didn't land it...so all the guys did standing X outs. I also competed an X out full from 96-98 because it was the only way I could spin...LOL

celebrity cheer junior 5 was the first junior team to compete full team real full ups in the 07-08 season
Alex Doherty I beleive was the first girl to dance in the middle of a pyramid in 05-06 on celebrity youth 5

Ambrel was the first and probably will be the only person ever to win 2 Worlds Gold Medals in the same year. When cross competiting was legal she won with Cheer Athletics Panthers and Jags in 06.

Wasn't there a few Gym Tyme Athletes that were on their small coed and international coed routines in 06? When you watch them on youtube you can see Ries in both routines.

me and my friend were talking about and wondering how many people have had both a standing double and double up (true coed style) ? just curious who was the first though?
