Lol that would be an insane trip just for a show! But it comes on Wednesday at 9 for me in central time zone. I'm not sure because y'all's airs afterwards. Maybe some one in CA can clarify for you! These moms are more like crazy!!

Watching Dance Moms now. Loved how they had a tray of donuts in the shot where Abby and Chloe's mom were having their pow-wow.

Chloe's mom said they could not leave Abby because Chloe would lose her national titles. How can you lose a title after you have earned it?

And seriously...of course Holly should go to her doctorate graduation instead of being in a lame mom dance recital. Kathy is just heinous. At this point, I am beginning to think she is worse than Abby.

I can't believe the moms are always going into the studio. The only time I have ever gone into a practice was when my daughter had a bone sticking up in her arm! And even then I waited a moment until I knew something was really wrong.

And all that talk about Broadway...you have to be able to sing and act also. And Abby was so mean to the little girl (McKenzie) who would not sing. Love that the casting director guy told Abby to step out.

Some of it seems "staged" to me - as I honestly can't see some of the things that go on being "real" lol. If they all got along, and there was no drama - then who would watch

. I do think that Chloe actually "looks" more like a dancer than Maddie - Chloe has beautiful lines with her being a bit leaner and taller than Maddie. Maddie has great stage presence - and is very confident in her abilities, and is a skilled dancer - I just think its the level of confidence that seperates the two. If Chloe would become a little more confident, I think she would be right with Maddie - but it seems as if Chloe's mom and Abby just add to Chloe not feeling confident. Brooke is also a great dancer - she just seems to not be as committed to it at this point - but that happens sometimes at her age.

Well you would be happy to know that Chloe won D.M.A Jr. Miss Dance of PA for 2011. For those not familiar with the Dance world, Dance Masters of America(D.M.A.) isn't a competition that just anyone can enter. The studio/school/teachers need to be members, and typically they are the elite schools.

Thank goodness for her that her mom didn't make her stop. She does have beautiful lines. I like Maddie though....she is a pretty child and very expressive. Both of which make her very good in lyrical and tap numbers and you can tell she really enjoys what she is doing.

I think a lot of it is staged. Like in last nights episode, Chloe's hair being down, you could look in her face and tell that she knew better than to have it down, but someone had told her otherwise

Ditto for McKenzie not singing.

The kids faces give it away all the time...since they're not trained actors...

I love Chloe she is my favorite! I wish everybody would stop comparing her and Maddie. I really like Abbey too. She's just so entertaining and funny but sometimes she's a little bit ridiculous! But overall I love Chloe, Brooke, and McKenzie! The moms are just soo insane! But I love Christi! I hope Chloe knows that she is amazing and not always second best!

Actually, I read on her moms twitter that Chloe was filming with another group where they were dressed up and then somebody told her she had to be in the studio asap.

Yes but. Abby walks in. The dance teacher says "I told her 4 times to put her hair up". Abby makes Chloe do 25 push ups, Chloe does 25 push up, then walks to her spot to do turns.

What child, that experienced in dance would not have gotten the hint by then that she needed to put the dang hair up, unless someone (producer) had told to wear it down to set an example, demonstrate how Abby is targeting Chloe etc etc. It was all staged.

I agree...whatever the reason she was in the studio without her hair up - she would have known to put it up before going in and dancing...even if it meant putting it up as she was walking into the studio - for as long as she has been there - she would know...
Also, before Holly even "agreed" to go to the few dance mom rehearsals for the show, she would have known she had work/graduation etc - graduations don't just get scheduled over night lol, and the other moms find out in a phone call....so I think last night's episode, I really got more of an impression that A LOT of it is staged.... then Viv's mom breaking out into her own dance...I mean really? The things that are said and go on - I find it hard to believe that those moms would actually be friendly at times with one another if their fights and conversations were real. Not that it being staged will stop me from watching - I am hooked...lol...But I have a different perspective of it now.

I read somewhere that chloe and maddie dont even compete against eachother since one is 8 and one is 10? They just edit the show to make it look like maddie beats chloe all of the time. There was one episode where they only showed that maddies solo won but chloe's solo also got 1st in her age group.

Chloe was in Top Junior Solo and Maddie was in Top Petite Solo. It's ridiculous how the show makes it seem like Maddie always beats Chloe! I wish they would get the facts straight!

I really didn't think about that. lol. I was reading Chloes moms twitter and she made it sound like it was real!
