formations really are just playing with them for any number. but keep them tight. it looks odd to only have that few girls, and have them really spread out.

We are doing this with 13 and it looks amazing!
My 13 sr 3 girls fill out the floor very nicely. For a small team they have a big stage presence and I love them!!!

We have the same issue with the two teams I am coaching this year :) SR3 and J4. 14 and 13 athletes. Combining teams would make them not as strong. We have some good talent for their levels still on the teams and we are going to still kill it. We are still playing around with formations and definitely going to try for two mans in pyramids and we are all girl as well... Make sure your girls know they can do it and have confidence, just be the best with 7, 12, or 36 girls!!! 1F1F

if anyone has American Showcase from Anaheim 2011 competition Small sr 3 & Small Coed 3"B" (i want to say) they had some smaller teams in that division.. if ya'll could post up!

My Sr. 3 has 17, and my Sr. 4 has 14- and they're doing just fine when it comes to a Varsity scoresheet. Quality>Quanity.
17 is not a bad number to have really! my team has a really awkward number, we have JUST NINE on our team, i love them to death but its not really even for stunt groups

So with the uneven stunt groups, what did you do with the extra left out kids?
im not sure what my coach has planned for the extra kid this year, i will deffinitely let you know when i do. last year we had 20 girls on our team so it wasnt really an issue.

we have really small teams in our gym this year. It was more important for us to have everyone on teams that fit them and their skill level (therefore making them successful) than having big teams. I think that most score sheets accomidate really well for small teams. We use mainly Jam Brands and it's all about quantity scores. With our groups that are uneven numbers for stunts- the odd man out usually tumbles if there is no way to fit them into stunts. My Mini 2 team has 11 kids. so for lib series i have 3 stunt groups- one is single base. for other stunts- we have one of our better tumblers do a pass in front.
