I am not a tumbler, my best skill is a forward roll :help: so I was wondering what is harder? I've been watching a lot of routines and it seems that hand doubles aren't very common so I'm assuming that they are harder than hand hand doubles etc.. so what is your hardest standing pass? or running either's fine. :D

My hardest standing is two to full double.
Once my standing full and hand double got consistent, one wasn't necessarily harder than the other.
It was harder to get a hand double though, for me.
I think it just depends on the person.

Standing fulls arent really that hard to do when you work on them, its just like a standing tuck but with a twist. Now hand doubles are in my opinion way harder because you need to be able to really push through your bhs to be able to get the height needed for the double. After I got hurt my 1 to dbl was the hardest thing to get back. It took me a good 4 months to be able to get it back consistant.

Personally one to double is way easier than a standing full, but it totally depends on the person. I have strong handspring, but i have a terrible time "tucking" for a standing full so they are often pike-y.

As a coach, my opinion is that a hand double is harder to learn than any other NON bounding standing pass, a standing full being the next hardest, and multiple handsprings to a double the next.

A one to double is much more difficult. I know plenty of people with standing fulls that don't have one to doubles, but I don't know anyone who has a one to double and not a standing full. I personally learned my standing full before I had any pass standing to double. My hardest standing pass would be between two to double double or standing whip double, probably two to double double for me.
