Your school allowed your coach to add to the school colors? They may be normal in some places I guess but where I went to high school that was a big no no. We had to get school board approval before switching the color of Gold we used in high school so I can't imagine adding a different color to the color scheme.

Tails, loops, center wrap, and hair tie are the most common in bow lingo.

Yep. He did SE's worlds practice wear along with APX's. And I believe he did bows that matched the practice wear as well.. Not too sure about that part, though.

I mean, I get what her mentality was... but if she really wanted to stand out she could have chose a bow that was full rhinestones all over the whole thing or something, and still have it match. And then silver sequin bloomers, or something to that effect. It's cute, and like I said, I get it. Just tell people you all support breast cancer research I soooo want to run into that picture and fix all their bows/ponytails though!!

i knew about the practice stuff i just didnt know shawn actually broke it down. and made bows from scratch!

Yea, it was ORIGINALLY for breast cancer/pink out game, but my coach decided she wanted us to compete with that, too. We also compete at cheersport in february (which is near valentines day) and i guess that works too? i dont really know. And about half the girls on our team REFUSE to put their hair up in a high pony tail with a poof, honestly i think mine is the only halfway decent one in the picture...(3rd person from the right) AND note that the girls i am standing with were all injured and not competing, so they didnt really care. Also, i've ordered many rhinestone bows from yella (for myself to match practice outfits) in our school colors hat were SO cute and the team ABSOLUTELY loved, but my coach just disagreed. IMO i think the rhinestones look so much better.
