I am officially taking Jazz technique during spring semester!! 
SO excited about taking this course, however I haven't danced since elementary/middle school! I was a pretty big dancer (jazz/hip-hop), but when it came to high school I had to make the decision if I wanted to dance or cheer both in school and outside of school....I clearly chose cheer. I do not regret my decision of choosing cheer, but I definitely have missed dance over the years!
My old jazz shoes (I still have 'em!) clearly have bit the dust/don't fit anymore and I have no "jazz" apparel. Just curious if any of you cheer/dance or have danced before etc. and can give me suggestions on what to buy! I am looking for mostly stores I can visit to try on actual shoes versus ordering offline...also someone told me about jazz socks or something?? I also would love suggestions for what to wear to class! I definitely have a LOT of spandex shorts etc. Are those appropriate? Leotards..Tutu? haha HELP!
