I just wish for once, people didn't have to be "heroes" and put up videos that teams don't want out. Like Tsunami, and F5, and parts of Senior Elite's stunt didn't want that to come out until they were ready. Tsunami always has the first video taken down, always. F5 is secretive, for good reason, as well as Senior Elite. Its disrespectful to the teams, plain and simple.

Also, I've lost respect for a bunch of people just because of this rediculous level of disrespect toward these gyms.

Not to pick your post apart, but how is Senior Elite secretive. Courtney lets ANYONE watch practice and there are videos posted already of Senior Elite's routine changes from practice - not even, that they've competed the changes yet.

Maryland Twisters are the most secretive of the big 3 in Large Senior - for effect, I can only name maybe 2 girls (very talented little tumblers on F5 compared to much of the rosters of Shooting Stars and Senior Elite). Not saying it's a bad thing, but it is what it is - and, when people have secrets other people love to leak those secrets. If Maryland Twisters weren't as vigilant about their secrets (they wouldn't be as big of a deal). But to each their own, different strokes for different folks.

Good Luck to Senior Elite, Shooting Stars, F5, Tsunami, and Super Seniors all competing at their respective events this weekend.

i wouldn't call us secretive. many people paid money to watch those videos and it's not fair that someone released for everyone to see for free. and once we compete, we pretty much keep all of our videos up. if i'm not mistaken, world cup and cea's music was leaked as well so we really don't know when they would have wanted to release it themselves. the video was solely removed because it is simply not fair to our twisters live customers.

Im sorry you cannot name more than two F5 girls, but what does that have to do with Twisters being secretive? We didnt want the videos on youtube or facebook simply because we have TwistersLive.

I understand that, I was talking more about (skills, routine information etc.) Twisters is more hsuh hush then the other two is all I was saying. I know all the music was leaked prior too, so they couldn't present it in whatever form they wanted to - but, I was also just talking in general - people love to know and tell a secret (that's why I think it's a bigger deal for MD Twisters, because they keep their secrets better.)

I'm not sure why you got an attitude, Twisters keeps their cards close to their chest - they aren't as public with everything including their athletes for whatever reason. No one is faulting Twisters for profiting off of their product. (people can pay or wait) clearly. Take it down a notch though killa.

i dont get why gyms care so much if their routines are "leaked" I mean you're showing you routine to the world proudly and "selling" the routine come worlds? so why care now if everyone will see it soon anyway?

as mentioned just a few posts above yours, the video that was leaked was specifically from our website that many people have paid for. we would to remain to loyal to our family, friends, and fans who have paid to watch the routines. as mentioned several times at this point, there will probably be several videos posted tomorrow bc jamfest allows video taping. however the showcase performances were supposed to be exclusive to the paying customers.

it's like that scene in bridemaids where they're secretly working out behind a tree so they wouldn't have to pay for the actual class.

Personally, I love that Twisters keeps their athletes "under wraps". I don't get the whole 'cheerlebrity' phenomenon thing and I never will. The athletes are there to cheer, not become 'famous'. Why people feel the need to know everything about every athlete on these teams is beyond me. Let them do what they do, and enjoy the amazing routines! Just my two cents.

i understand now.. but it seems even before the paying method some teams seem a little up tight.

It isn't that it was leaked it is that people have paid to see the video and now others get to see it for free because someone decided to video their computer screen. Just like with videos from Worlds, myself and others pay to watch those videos so when others rip them and put them on youtube it is annoying and the reason they get removed for the first few weeks after worlds.

can i shimmy this 1000 times....it's not about who knows your name, it's about your skill.

I have to agree with everyone when I say that posting the video was wrong. Now I am no Twisters superfan going crazy (even though I love me some F5), but you're forgetting that this gym is a business. Twisters live is their business and something they're making money off of by putting these videos up. I'm sure they expected someone to this, but still you gotta respect their business.
