i say this because as of 11/28 when the original schedule was posted- they were both in the small junior division as of last monday. i never said anything about any team changing a division because of Unity just wondering why those 2 did, thats all.
Funny...the original schedule was "posted" to the public yesterday only coaches got to see for crossover purposes last week. Seriously, didn't we all know that ICE would be at WSF 6 months ago when their packet came out? Anf if we are talking teams changing divisions, wasn't Unity originally Large? Hasn't ICE changed some teams from small to large and into different divisions?
I'll say it again, JR. 5 Large is stacked.....so to "run" from Unity is nothing but you stroking your ego.
And I will also say the kids who came in are new kids, not crossovers. How many does ICE have?

Looking at Varsity's website, that percentage of perfection score is final score (after deductions) divided by the maximum score possible in that level. So, a level 1 team scoring a 47 (out of a possible 55) would have a Percentage of Perfection score of 85%. It makes it so all levels are working out of a score of 100% I guess. Apparently, that's also how the UCA Milwaukee competiton was scored this past weekend too.
LOL...well I know on your end scoring didnt go your way this week but for us it did..sorry.. They will rock it again this weekend tho!!!

Most registrations are submitted a month or more before the actual event. The new girls who have joined Dynasty were just worked into the routine within the past couple of weeks. So, when the original registration was submitted, Dynasty was still small. Since then, we've had more athletes join and are now large, so they changed their division to reflect that.

I have two daughters on UA Dynasty. As a small Jr 5, they were full at 20 athletes. When they had some Jr aged L5 athletes express interest in joining the team, they weren't going to turn them away (they'd be fools if they did), SO rather than bump any existing team members off to take the new girls on, they decided to go large. The team is very excited to join the Large Jr 5 division and have been working hard all week getting ready for WSF!
Looking good!!

They switched divisions at the start of the new season, just like many of others did if i recall throughout the country. if we wanted to add more girls to the roster for the competition or the remainder of the season, we will. have no doubt about that- but unity is a small team, has been all year... and will remain that way all season. once again, i said nothing about what you say "running scared!" haha it makes me laugh at the thought. if those are your words you chose to use, so be it. i was curious to know why they changed divisions thats all ;)

You certainly imply that you were just curious....

I can see Generals and Platinum walking away with two of the bids (if they don't have major issues), but the third is a toss up between a few teams. As far as At large bids I don't even want to start thinking of those possibilities.

I do have a question though, I noticed that Kentucky Allstars Elite have a medium coed on the schedule but it is not out of Lexington. Is that their "Cats" team this year because there is no name beside it and I know that Cats were at this comp last season. I am curious because I have not heard anything about any level 5 team out of Lexington so far. Also didn't know they still had 2 locations.

What was the big deal? Did she/he ever say anything about UA?!?!? I thought the same thing when I saw the performance order. I wondered what happened to the small division??? Don't really see the reason to jump down someone's throat for something you "thought" they were implying! Good luck to Dynasty this weekend in the new division. I am sure they will do great there!

The medium coed team is out of Northern Ky. They have a junior 5 team from that location too. They used to be Kentucky Elite North, prior to the Premier "take-over". The only level 5 team out of Lexington that I'm aware of is in the large restricted division.

Thanks. I didn't know they still had a location in northern KY. It is weird not seeing a level 5 worlds team from the Lexington location. Hopefully they can rebuild the gym back to be comparable to what it once was, hopefully.

Me too!...we leave in the morning. Looking forward to watching some of the teams I hear so much about on the board. :D
