I read into it on their website, but couldnt find what they won... im assuming its not anything special...

I just posted a similar thing on the Majors video page but ... I cant help feeling like the winners will be expecting this amazing trip, and it wont be. The UK and Europe has some good teams but no where near as many as the US nor in the quantity that the US has. I just cant help shaking the feeling that they'll come here and be thinking 'we won for this'. Personally I can't wait, I live in Liverpool and Jamfest Europe is our home comp, and to see ANY of these teams perform will completely blow me away. I get why Jambrands is doing it - to increase the profile over here but I dont know if it is to the expense of the winning team

Somehow I am pretty sure that the overall experience of visiting England, hosting clinics and being treated like royalty over here by the cheerleading community will be what they are most looking forward to. I don't believe that they will feel 'we won for this' as it will be-for many of the team, a once in a lifetime experience having flights and hotels paid for!

hosting clinics
WAIT...they're hosting clinics...where do I sign up for this???

Yeah I guess I get your point, however, I cant shake the feeling. Liverpool is an awesome city (I know, I'm slightly biased) but most people who come want to visit London, heck I want to visit London all the time ;) I suppose transatlantic flights, hotels and all that jazz will make up for some of it but I still have a niggling doubt over it all. I suppose time will tell.

a trip to europe? i definitely think it will be worth it! people who live by the beach don't find anything special about the ocean, yet people form the middle of the country travel to beaches all the time and absolutely LOVE it. same thing with Europe, it's just your everyday life to you, but to someone over here... it's EUROPE!!

... it's EUROPE!!
LOL I love that take on it. I don't see Liverpool as mundane or boring, it is quite far from it. I suppose I just see better alternatives and I don't want the winning team to be disappointed because there are better alternatives.

This was taken in Texas in a museum, i hope all you Americans do not think Liverpool is located the same in the picture, i can tell its like the opposite side of the country!
