i figure since the new rules only restrict backwards tumbling, is it legal to do a front double? i know i have one, and it would be sick to do one at worlds!

Running doubles are legal so unless your doing a standing front double, yes, this is legal and not a loophole.

If the wording of rules, is as simple as they put it, they just left a large grey area allowing tricks that are just as "dangerous" in my opinion as the ones they took out!

I just said this in another thread. I foresee a ton of injuries (more so than before) from people trying crazy front passes because what else do they have to do...way to fix the problem...

Yeah im thinking the front spinning as well as trick fulls. I dont know how many kids can do standing handspring to kick or x- out full but there hard. those will be legal but in my opinion more difficult and dangerous then doubling. then you add in kick-full step outs, so now your tricking, twisting and stepping out onto one leg. hopefully this wont be seen by the wrong people and taken out as well though!

The rules haven't actually been written. Les Stella and the Rules committee will be doing that. I'm expecting the language will be pretty specific.

this is my biggest issue with it. the changes talked about are vague. do you know how easy it's going to be for coaches and athletes alike to go, "but it didn't say anything about this." loopholes. biggest problem with rules, especially in this sport. all it's going to do is encourage kids to get creative in other ways, which may sound cool in theory, but in reality its just going to lead to more injuries.
