acxjags and Ceacoach,
Thank you for spearheading this issue. You guys provided us with something to rally around and took action instead of just complaining and moving on. It's obvious how much you care about these issues and the kids involved.

We could have sat back dealt with it, but you guys helped us see that if we truly disagree with something that we need to fight it. Thank you for taking the steps in a calm, appropriate manner and actually getting results. You have given all of the athletes, coaches and parents a voice.

You would go to great lengths for your athletes, and it has shown in the success if your respective gyms. This is just a quick note from a former cheerleader letting you know how much we appreciate all you have done. =)

I know there are so many others working tirelessly on this issue as well, and we thank you. These two have just been at the forefront of all the organizational things that needed taking care of to get this accomplished the proper way.

Special thanks to Les Stella, RulesGuy, for taking time out of his life and putting his head on the chopping block in front of over 400 angry cheerleaders, coaches, and parents. No one required him to take extra time out of his life to answer our questions, but he did so anyway.

You must be an LSU fan ;)

Yes I think all 3 of those individuals as well as the other coaches and gym owners who were part of last nights conference call deserve a big pat on the back.
If I could I would nominate Les Stella to be the Chairman of the board for the USASF. He wasn't involved in what happened but took the heat for it anyway while the others refused to comment on it.
I also thank Courtney, Randy, Kristen, and Tannaz (and really all the others) for not being afraid to stand up for what they think is right. There are so many instances in cheer where it seems people bite their tongue and wait for it to all go away, but those individuals stood up and said enough is enough.

I would like to add Brad Hammermil (Surely that's not spelled right) as well. He said how he felt and pledged his support to the group. Also want to add Debbie Love. My heart broke for her when she spoke of being blindsided and that she had never been more angry about the way this rule release happened. She said she heard it from her kids and SHE"S on the committee.

And for real Les.........he jumped smack in the hotseat last night....that took courage!!! Then he made me laugh with his story about being in charge of his boys and his wife being out of town and he could hear them in their room giggling when they should be asleep! LOL

Also Randy stuck around and let many of the kids speak about how they were feeling for a good hour and a half (before I disconnected) and also a female coach from a small Ky gym who I didn't catch her name but.......I was so thankful that those kids had someone to listen to them in that moment! So thank you Randy and sweet lady from KY!

I think this is all a great lesson for all the kids on here. You all need to follow Courtney & the other great leaders lead. If there is something that you strongly believe in, dont be afraid to fight for it, but do it in a positive, professional manner and you will get results!!

Thanks everyone. I know we all share the same passion for the sport and many of us have worked hard to get cheer where it is. We all have opinions as to where cheer should be heading and we are all entitled to those opinions. We just wanted to make sure we ALL had a way to convey what we want and see where that takes us. I love cheerleading, it is my life and passion. I promise all of you I will do everything in my power to see we do the right thing to help us all be able to do what we love safely and correctly. Keep people joining the A.S.G.A. page. The larger the numbers the more voices we have.
