Woah that's super weird!! I suggest running and doing conditioning at home like squats, leg lifts, abs, etc. Maybe try and find a place to tumble in. That's what I would do!:) but I never get a break lol we are done for 2 weeks and then try outs! The season starts all over again!

Do other athletic things to give your body a rest from the constant tumbling and basing. That way you're still saying in shape without all the stress on your body. Go to the beach and play volleyball. Try surfing. Swim. Etc

We haven't had time off for 3 seasons. This year we had tryouts while the kids were still practicing with their teams, they had a week off and then the new teams started practicing...crazy!

to me, the cheer season is never over haha, after my last competition we have tryouts and then practice! so i'm always at the gym still!

As the $$ sponsor of 2 cp's.... I dream about saving money and having time to relax, but there is no "OVER". Soooooo I just keep smiling, writing checks and enjoying our cheer life!

I'm from the UK and we usually have a 4-6 week summer break from around the end of July to the beginning of September and it's torture! Apart from a few day summer camps we have nothing so I make sure I condition lots and try and find a place to work on skills :)

Our last competition was 3/31-4/1 and our tumbling clinic/tryouts started yesterday. We has one week with no cheerleading and I spent the whole time on youtube and fierceboard. lol.

i am usually lost when cheer season is over, but usually its exactly a month from NCA college nationals and tryouts. We have to run before every practice, so i stay with keeping my endurance up and going to go tumble and stunt on my free time. :)
