I know there is a thread for best moments of worlds, but I want to hear all of yals favorite moments throughout the season. I will start:

-Panthers and Coed Elites reactions at winning the Majors, and their routines
-Shooting Stars performance at WC kick off, and everyones reaction to Kelsey throwing her two to double double
-Senior Elite's performance day 2 of NCA
-Cheetahs winning NCA, and their explosion of popularity this season (I am completely obsessed)

Laredo All American literally tearing up the stages in Texas...the best little team you have probably never heard of!
Panthers winning Majors...traveling back to Dallas...and winning NCA.

How the cheer world united in support of Madeline and how we fought (and are still fighting) to get the rules changed.

Winning NCA with my team that has for the most part been the same group of girls for the last 5 years. This is my last year (I'm aging out of junior) and I'm glad after getting second last year we managed to hit and win this year!

i have two. my girls winning jamz in vegas PCM Destiny (sm jr 2) what upp. and this is gonna sound sappy, but as great as that was, what was even more awesome was when my mom came out to palm springs to her first cheer competition since i competed. she met my girls and fell in love with them, and while she was there we ran into my old high school coach. it was just a really special day, and the funny thing was, i couldnt get her out of the arena because she kept wanting to watch the other teams and give me notes. you can take the mom out of cheer but you cant take the cheer out of mom <3333

My favorite moment from this season we have to be compete at BATC and the rest of the season as a Maryland Twister. After the owner of Vipers cheer and dance close all three of the locations, the tuesday after NCA nationals. We were all heart broken and surprised by what happened and how it happened. With another local gym trying to bank off of our misfortune, I have the up most respect and gratitude to Jeff and Liz not giving up on the VA location and doing everything they could do to keep us a float and competing that weekend. I thank Tara for taking us under there umbrella as they would say and letting us finish out the season and continuing on with many more. In my eyes she deserved gym owner of the year. Since the gym closed the week of BATC (a big comp on the east coast) we were fortunately homeless and had no place to practice but a local rec gym afford us space and allowed us to come there the day after and practice and have a gym meeting. My team was overwhelmed with what had gone on and Tara being there, so we ended going back to our old routine, the one we knew we could hit and not go with our new one that had more difficulty.

But the best moment was at the competition wearing our sports bras and shirts with the twisters logo on it and people coming up to us and asking when are we preforming because they knew what had happened and wanted to support us. When we walked out on the stage the hall was crowed with people wanting to watch and support us. You would have thought that we were a level 5 team. Heres our routine and in the bottom left corner you can see Tara cheering us on. Along with the other coaches.:)

-The feeling of winning our bid the first year our gym has ever had a level 5 team
-Hitting our routine for the first time on day 1 at cheersport and then hitting again day 2
-Listening to Ace Thunderbirds worlds music and crying my eyes out at the opening
-USASF trending worldwide on Twitter
-Making the cover of AC
-Meeting a lot of cheerleaders throughout this season
-Being nominated for a FBA for the first time :cheering:

1) Seeing the cheer community unite in times of need, sadness, anger, and grow closer as a whole.
2) Becoming a better person. Cheer this season taught me to never settle for second best, to keep pushing, and my eyes were really opened to the power of unity and love for one another. (cheesy, I know :) )
3) Seeing my ICE Passion babies hit both days at Jamfest and win Senior Grand Champions.
4) Worlds 2012.
5) Joining the boards after reading them forever and being to scared. Why was I worried?!
6) Meeting new people, as always.
7) My skills improving immensely, specifically my technique in tumbling.

:)

Our best moment was Sweeping NCA Daytona/Florida All-Levels

Last competition of the year, Jr Silver had an undefeated season riding on it and all 4 of our teams took home first. Incredible way to close out the season.

Something happened tonight at my Mini's last practice that may be one of my favorite moments. I have a girl who has been working on her backwalkover for the past 2 years, and she finally got it a few weeks ago. So I put it in the routine, and tonight she came up to me and said she was nervous and scared that she wouldn't be able to do it this weekend at our last competition. I explained to her that she has to believe in herself and tell herself that she CAN do it. We did the routine one last time and of course she did it perfectly. She came up to me and said "It worked! I told myself 4 times that I can do it and I did it!" I told her I knew she could. Well then after practice, she said to me that she was so excited to do her backwalkover in the routine for the last competition. Then she gave me a hug and said "All I have to do is believe in myself and try my best!" This warmed my heart and confirmed exactly why I love to coach. When a child accomplishes a goal and knows they made you proud, moments like that are priceless. :)
