LOL DEAD

You guys can justify it all u want. You wanna laugh at someone eating it when they're trying to contribute to their team, that's fine. Cheer karma will get you, and you or your teammate will eventually eat it one day. Prolly when you can least afford the deduction.

But if you've ever thrown the word respect around, stuff like this is included. Cuz those ppl eating it on a video have a name, have a story. They prolly are embarrassed and feel bad they let down their team.

So laugh, and maybe next time it will be you :)
well im not on or afliated with any kind of team so i will laugh all i want. people need to quit getting hurt over this petty sstuff

I've been seeing a lot of viddy videos on my facebook feed with titles like "cheerleaders eat sh*t at worlds" or "toe touch to face at worlds"

stop it. its disrespectful and demeaning to the sport. would it be so funny if it were you or your team mate? honestly it disgusts me that i see one of those videos in my feed, and a dozen of my friends have watched it. show some class cuz cheer karma ALWAYS catches up with you.

I understand the point you are making and initially I was in complete agreement with you, but upon further reflection I realized that I do find sports bloopers funny (as long as I know no one was hurt) so what is the difference if it is a football player, baseball player or cheerleader. They are all athletes on a par that I never was and I still recognize that for them to be doing what they are doing requires skill and dedication I never had, so I never think less of the athletes involved. Though I am sure you are right that the athletes themselves would love for those videos to disappear.

Frankly, what offends me far more is the profanity that people seem unable to resist when labeling these videos. The "cheerleader eats s-----" video showed up on my Facebook and I was embarrassed that it had been up for a few days on my page before I saw it and deleted it. That to me is the true disrespect.

i think its very disrespectful to the athlete. they already felt bad enough that they messed up on the biggest day of their lives, they dont need it spread across social networking sites. also, the people posting these videos most likely couldnt perform the skill any better (just saying)

Kinda random, but all this viddy stuff keeps popping up on my facebook and it surprises me alot of the cheer videos like people doing standing fulls and stuff are being watched by people who have nothing to do with cheer.
This has surprised me quite a bit too!

I'd say it was disrespectful, but go into any major league stadium, and you'll see blooper reels. If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? Of course if the athlete was seriously injured, it wouldn't be very funny, but most of the bust videos I've seen haven't had a major injury.

Honestly.... some of you guys put WAY too much tought into what you guys say.
Like seriously..... IT'S A BLOOPER VIDEO.
WE CAN'T HELP IT THAT WE AS HUMANS APPRECIATE HUMOR.

I'm pretty sure that whoever posts these videos aren't thinking in their head.
" oh I'm going to post this to stir up another pointless & ridiculous discussion on fierceboard."

Ohh this isn't helping the cause of this
Ohh this isn't helping the cause of that.

Omg!!! I can't even take it!
LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE

and besides, sometimes people just fall. I saw an HPU Small Coed cheerleader bust to her face on a standing tuck at NCA College Nationals. I'm pretty sure anyone on HPU is more than qualified to do a standing tuck.

This is a high intensity sport which means "agony of defeat" moments are going to happen. Heck, look at whoever the agony of defeat male gymnast was! He's literally the poster child for a massive crash. That clip has run for years! If a cheerleader is going to have their feelings hurt, or get all upset because they busted on video I'm thinking they need to rethink their chosen endeavor.

Shake it off, laugh it off, suck it up and throw the skill again....or checkout underwater basket weaving at the local YMCA.
