I LOVE the name "Swoosh Cats" it has meaning and I always appreciate a fond memory or a good story behind a name. I really hope they keep it!

the name apparently comes from a painting from their old gym seen in the background of this pic I got off twitter

Hey Ariel lookin' good

I don't know if you are going to want to answer this... but are Panthers and Swooshcats equally as talented?

On paper, we expected them to be very similar talent-wise. When it is all said and done, I expect that they both should have comparable ratios of doubles, etc.

Our general rule of thumb is that we try to create teams that have roughly the same chance of winning their division as each other. However, how strong a division will be is often very difficult to predict. This means that different teams may have to be beefed up once we get a feel for what is needed for that division.

We expect both of them (and Cheetahs, LadyKatz, and Wildcats) to contend for Gold. Not gonna lie, we are greedy when it comes to globes and we will work VERY hard to get as many as we can.

Nothing wrong w/that!

Hey BlueCat who is the guy at about 1:03 thats in the center in the back that does the jump section and ends it with a standing full? I've noticed he's been on Wildcats for a number of years but no matter where he is in the jump sequence he always throws standing fulls! One year he was on the back left row and still threw a standing full! Not saying he isnt talented because clearly he is, but does he have a mental block when throwing tucks out of jumps?
