All-Star Hotshots 2012-need Your Input

They absolutely will have shirts to trade. Definitely take some.

I would say definitely! I would also maybe suggest private messages on facebook or twitter to people on some teams attending if there is something in particular she has her eye on! But from what I've seen, hot shots is a much more intimate setting. the teams bond and she'll make friends on other teams, so the overwhelmingness of NCA won't be there!

Excuse my ignorance, but can someone explain to me what hot shots is? I've seem posts about it everywhere, but I'm still not catching on

I HAVE TO visit the Dance Moms Miami Studio while I'm there.....

It is a camp that was started YEARS ago by I believe WC and TG (might have been a few others, but I remember those). It kind of went away briefly, but then came back. It's a by-invitation-only cheer/stunt camp in Florida put on by the members of these gyms. This year I believe there will be quite a few gyms represented. I think it's probably a great camp and a lot of fun for the kids that attend.

I went to hot shots back in 2004 and had a blast! Your daughter will have a great time!!!!

I went last year and it was soooo much fun!!! I switched gyms this year and sadly the gym I'm at is not going

I attended in '04 also and it was amazing!! We did competitions with your age group, as in if you where a junior in High School you meet up with all the other Juniors from all the other teams and made a quick routine with stunt groups, tumbling and some dance and competed against the other ages.. it was a lot of fun!

its really cool mesh of athletes from all over definitely let her attend!

My 14 year old will be attending and would love to trade shirts and pins with you. She attended last year so I can fill you in on the camp. I will PM you.

That part was definitely a blast! I remember feeling so privileged being able to stunt with people from TG, Ace etc. What gym were you with then?

I went with ACE, I was on coed the previous year, but I was actually moving to Miami after HOT SHOTS, the beginning of July.. So transfered to TG Large and Small Coed that part was my favorite of the whole camp.

Soooo much fun, I went one year and had a blast. I loved doing the grade level teams and coming up with a routine to compete with.
