Omg that character. Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa! Oh, and there was a peaceful discussion between individuals of Regina George's party and Janic Ian's wig. Some argues it was made from someone's mother's chest hair, some argued Regina was a fugly slut. Idk which way y'all lean.
I can't see the picture! I have ancient eyes. What is it?

Question answered. But I still can't get a chicken out of that. waahhhh

Adding back the CA question triggered by cupieqt status. Apologies to the original poster, can't remember who raised this, really don't know why it was deleted;

How many globes will it take before CA makes the cover of a magazine?

Great question.

That would also be mine. So sad all my good posts were deleted, but yes I think that CA needs a few magazine covers to discuss them kicking butt every year at worlds. Their medal count itself deserves many articles.

I think the editing on this thread was quite generous. I would of been fine even seeing more posts go away. Bemoaning the loss of "shimmies" to me is just a realization that many priorities are out of whack. I'd be fine seeing "Shimmies" altogether go away if we are that absorbed into their "meanings".

Agree, lost a LOT of good dialogue, for no apparent reason. Silly.

Maybe next year's Cheerlebrity will come out of CA. Shall we all band together and create one? Nominees?

I was just texting asking AndrewSky who he thinks the next "face" of our sport will be.

The counts aren't the point. In many cases, people who are afraid to speak out will shimmy a statement they may be afraid to post themselves. That's their voice you see.

Yes, a lot of these posts crossed the line. A lot didn't - they just stepped over the Rainbows and Puppies line. If everyone just came on here and made a happy-face statement, wouldn't we lose something? It would just be a long string of words. Like signing the book at a funeral parlor with rubber-stamp condolences. If ONE post makes someone think from a different perspective, a forum is successful. That doesn't mean they agree, just that they consider the viewpoint. Everyone learns.

I just read an old post, a young man who opened up here about something personal. 48 shimmies tells me he knew how many people supported him, even if they aren't 'posters'. That's an extreme example, but hopefully puts a different spin on the shimmys thing.

Yes, your 'extreme' example does put a different perspective. My message was to this lamenting in the loss of shimmies gained over drama.

Fair enough, moving forward.
