I will speak for my daughter since she will be a Senior. She used to want to be a meteorologist. She used to watch the weather channel like kids would watch cartoons lol. She is still enthralled by weather and storms etc. but is not sure that will be a secure career path. You have to know by daughter - she is very independent - and wants to make sure she has a career where she can take care of herself and will not have to rely on anyone. So...that led her to Pharmacology. So, I believe she will look into a school with that program. If she could teach cheer on the side to a mini or youth team, she would -but I don't know how that would fit into her schedule.

I think your CP might be me, just a few years younger! Not sure if she wants to go into pharmacy school (to be a pharmacist), or just major in pharmacology (research and designing new drugs), but I'm halfway through pharmacy school right now. Feel free to PM me if you have any pharmacy school questions :)

You'd figure that there's got to be a team of Walt Disney World Resort cast members who work directly with IEPs for all of the cheerleading competitions that take place down there.

I want to be on that team. Mixing my two favorite things of all-time: Disney and cheerleading. It's a win-win.

Performing autopsies. and, no, I haven't cheered in years. But I know I can still tumble. I'm playing lax now, so maybe I'll coach on the side. Who knows, I could pull out the no limits.

One of my best friends is a meteorology major at Millersville University. She wants to be a storm chaser when she graduates. It's an incredibly demanding major (so much science) but she loves it. Of course it also helps that she's beautiful and has a bubbly personality so she could do TV. There's plenty to do in the field it seems...research, TV, storm chasing...

Ok thanks. I don't think she has thought that far yet. She is still kind of deciding. :) she still may be interested in meteorology as that is her first interest but she was concerned about the job field. So much to think about!

My daughter loves to watch storm chasers on TV. I don't know if we can believe the statistics about job availability /security in that field. It was so low. She loved the storm chasing aspect and still loves the weather. My dad arranged for her to meet a local meteorologist and watch him do the weather live at the station and she got his autograph on her hurricane tracker when she was in 5th grade lol so its still a possibility. She excels in math and science so she has a lot to think about :)

I want to study Agribusiness and Management and then go into developing nations or areas that are rebuilding after years of civil war and help people start their own business and help them have a stable food source by teaching agriculture. I don't think theres really a job title for what I want to do and I really don't know if I will make any money but I just wanna help put an end to hunger and help develop third world countries so we wont have commercials wanting you to donate to help feed children. I plan on going into the Peace Corps after I graduate from college and finding a way through that to connect me with what I want to do.

Well Im going to school now for Nursing but Ive been having second thoughts and may be wanting to do Nutrition! Any Nutritionists/Dieticians out there? I love Nutrition and Im really good at it and I wouldnt mind doing that as a career at all but part of me still really wants my RN. I was thinking maybe if I dont get accepted into the Nursing School Upper Division then I will switch to Nutrition and work on getting my RN after I graduate with a 4 year Nutrition degree.

But no matter what cheering will always be a part of my life in some way or another :)

I want to do something with design. Graphic is my first choice but I've also thought about interior. I have also thought about going to school to be a hair stylist. I love different colored hair and I just thought it would be cool. Not a lot of money, but school is also a lot cheaper! I would do a nail salon but I CANNOT handle feet. Hopefully I will be a coach in the future, but not really focused on that right now.

I would like to become a journalist and work for Inside cheer or American cheerleader so I would still be connected to the cheer world. But my dream job is the job Sandra Bullocks charchter (OMG i can never spell that word.. total fail, I know) has at that publishing company

For a few years now I've decided that I want to get a degree in biochemistry and work in research. Will I actually end up doing any of that? No idea since I'm heading into my senior year of high school.
If I could choose any job not having to worry about job security, or skill, or anything, I would become a pastry chef. If only I didn't absolutely suck at cooking...
