Slapfire And Slapu! | Fierce Board - We Talk Cheerleading

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything in regards to SlapU? I myself as well as colleagues have applied for the course with no response and I have reached out to the [email protected] email and still no response. There are conflicting dates on the slapfireu.com website still. While some pages saying there was to be a launch for June 13 some say July 6. I don't post in this forum at all but I have found myself a little lost as to what is what and would like some help if anyone else had heard anything. When you're planning on investing 500 plus dollars for a service correspondence and correct information in my opinion should be vital from a service provider. If anyone could provide any information as to what exactly is going on please feel free. Speaking for myself I just want to know is the course still being offered? If so when so that I can get this ball rolling.

I posted this in the Cheerleading Music Forum (where it belongs) and haven't gotten much response so I figured I'd let you guys have a go at it!...Pretty sure I'll get a good Ear/Eye full based on previous and similar posts I've seen!

OUCH!

SlapFire comments?

I ask that anyone who replies to this post not instigate and start drama. The post speaks for itself and needs no additional "input" unless it is addressing the actual concerns. If Slapfire would like to speak on the behalf of his brand I am sure that he will do so! Until then I ask that if your have nothing relative to my post to speak of then please keep the negativity to yourself! There's already enough out here in this industry. Not angry nor upset at all, just prefer things to be addressed in a respectable manner.

you went into alot of detail for just a simple "OUCH!"

They were not instigating nor starting drama, just tagging the said person in the post to draw attention to it. If you come onto a public forum to draw attention to the issue, the person that the issue pertains to has a right to know that this has been brought up, and a right to publicly defend their actions and/or set the record straight. You already said that you had colleagues in the same situation as you, so clearly you have already gotten an answer from people who are just as interested in the course as you are. Just the fact that you haven't gotten any kind of response from them and you are getting conflicting information should be your answer as to how you should proceed, as the red flags are waving in front of your face.

I agree with MomOf2ThatsMe ... The tagging was just to bring it to their attention, which is actually very respectful. Jettplane_JB , like Mom said, you've probably already been foreshadowed to what's lies in the future. I think you've done everything possible in terms of communication with SlapU/Slapfire. If you're really concerned about it financially, there are other options that go a step further (Better Business Bureau, lawyers, etc...) I don't know the company or the owners personally, however I know their may be a chance they have existing reports as this is an on-going issue with them. Not sure how it would pan out as far as looking the current company up, as they were "Cheersound" before they were "Slapfire". So if anything were to come up on the company, you'd have to report both... If you paid your money through paypal, you can request that money back. I had a similar situation with a company and had to file a dispute with Paypal and my money was refunded immediately. If by any other means (check, other credit card processing, cash, etc...), then I fear that money is long gone... Hopefully you get some direct answers from "Slapfire" and that some of this information will help. Good luck!!!
