All-Star 2012-13 Uniform Costs

Ours for the top, skirt and spankies is $150. Our uniforms are full custom with logo on the front and back of the shell, and another logo on the skirt. We've used the same company in Canada for years and love them!

We go through varsity, and ours are $275 this year for skirt with attached spankies and top. All we know so far is that they will be full top sublimated unis.

My bf is designing a new uniform for his team. So once that is finished (within a week or so) I can probably post the design and the cost.

Uniforms are so overpriced to me, $275 for a top and skirt is so expensive.

Our uni is crop top & shorts, through Varsity. $275 I believe.

For basically amounts to a sleeved sports bra & a pair of spanx with a row of rhinestones and a mystique waistband. What a racket. I'll admit, the top is far more complicated looking & bedazzled than the bottoms, but I believe the shorts still run like $90 bucks or so.

I'm not entirely sure because we are on our last year of the uni so it's been awhile since I've had to buy a new one, but I believe that they were around $325-350.

Our new uni for this year is $300 which includes our bow and make-up. It's a Varsity sublimated full top and skirt. Just saw them and really like the sublimated!

I still dont understand how sublimated uniforms are so expensive...the majority are max 4 pieces of fabric (top) sewn together, no bridge lasering or intricacies...the computer and printer do the majority of production...I'm still baffled.

$275 including bow...by Varsity.

Our uniforms are subliminated from MeeSports and they cost 140.

My team in the UK is getting sublimated. We're using the leotard company Milano (same scale as GK over here) and they will be about £80 = around $125.

WOW, 300 for a subliminated uniform? That's pretty insane, unless its like Tsu's with rhinestones and such. I agree with Drkilluzionz , what's the deal with subliminated uniforms being so daggum expensive?!
Ours is like $330, but its a full top with as many rhinestones as we could get on it within our budget. It's SO beautiful. Can't wait till we get a physical prototype!

Why are they so expensive? Because the cheer community is made up of people who want nothing but the latest and greatest and are willing to pay for it. The people who run this industry aren't stupid, and they know that parents of these athletes have seemingly bottomless bank accounts for their "Cheer Princesses." No offense, but it's true.
