For some reason the he grid doesn't show open. An athlete looking into a few gyms was told by another gym that she couldn't cheer on senior because she aged out. Am I mistaken that you can be on senior up until the age of 19 as long as you are age 19 as of August 31st of that season? Can someone clarify? Thanks!

Yes the cutoff date to be 18 is August 31st.................anytime after that you can turn 19 and still be on Sr all star team......

You can only be on senior if you are 18 on or before August 31st. For example, Susie's birthday is september 1st, 1993. she is still 18 on August 31st so she can cheer! However, Fannie Mae's birthday is July 18th, 1993. She is 18 so she can no longer cheer on a senior team.

P.s. someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Cheerleaders who turn 19 AFTER August 31, 2012 are eligible to compete on senior teams for the 2012-2013 season.
