I like it! I feel for practice wear, less is more. The simpler the better. Of course it can still have designs and all but not over the top. Loving the use of rhinestones!

This week in the political arena, behind the scenes, has been such a disappointment. I always like to believe that people in the industry at the end of the day make decisions first and foremost with the kid's best interest at heart. I had begun to almost give up hope, throw in the towel, stop sticking my neck out and demanding for change...and then I came upon ALL these designs and I remembered how important this fight is.

When I posted on this board three years ago for a program called Next Generation we gathered names and was thrilled to see it come to fruition in Dallas last season. So many things learned, passed on, and a concentrated effort at recognizing the talents and aspirations of that select new group. I know in my heart that the best days of allstar cheerleading are yet to come...that the leadership of today would benefit so greatly from the next generation of coaches and kids and their passion that is magnified beyond anything we have yet to experience in our sport. To be pushed out of the next generation leadership after CREATING it likely because of my stance against the rules and told second hand yesterday by USASF leadership to "lay low" broke me down to tears.

The dedication these designs and those from the uniforms on another thread show make me believe that the fight is worthwhile. I will not lay low and I will not stop speaking out because what is just on the horizon for all of us shows too much promise. The status quo of where allstar cheerleading is presently doesn't BEGIN to tap into where it can be, both in skill and creativity. I want this next group of genius leaders to be able to leave their own indelible mark on the sport with every opportunity for entrepreneurial enterprise that I did. I want the glass ceiling lifted and I want to see where we can take this great thing we all obsess over. Engaging in social media is the way of the world..its no longer a past time or unprofessional. Looking at these designs by amateurs makes me yearn to know what this group could add to the leadership and competition circuit...what could their ideas and imagination help to create? The possibilities are boundless.

Just a note to say that every time I come on these two threads it is me who is inspired...thank you for showing me how many of you truly ADORE this sport. Thank you for showing me just how much ingenuity, creativity, style, and brilliance lie untapped just waiting dormant for an opportunity.

So true! For practice wear, if you put too much on, it looks like a crappy uniform. But if you do less, it makes it look a LOT better!

I've seen way too much teal doing Cheer Extreme and CSS uniforms today. Need a break from the teal!

ETA: Side note, the CSS on the shorts was kinda an homage to GWs' current uniforms, change "California Sharks" to "Great Whites" and it would work

I had meant to make the x over body and connect at top of the back for the sports bra. I got side tracked when I designed
