OT Here Comes Honey Boo Boo

My aunt is OBSESSED with this child for some reason I'm just shocked at what people will do to win/be on tv

This is honestly the stupidest idea for a show I've ever heard. It's like TLC ran out of creativity so they're just making shows about T&T kids.

Maybe they're different in real life (doubtttt it) but this makes their family look like a bunch of redneck idiots. And I think I understand 1/8th of what this child is talking about, but I'm sure I'm not missing out

Uhhh not to be harsh... But it's shows like these that make me ashamed to be American. Saying the name itself makes me cringe. Just no. I can't.

It was funny when she had her one episode, but this, this is too much.

I don't like the way the child acts. The eye rolling, neck rolling, and snapping makes me cringe and want to spank her. And she's not cute. At all. I never got on the honey boo boo bandwagon

What's worse is this poor girl is just asking I e made fun of once she gets older and pretty much for the rest of her life.

I also agree she is beyond obnoxious! If my kid ever acted like that (but let me mention, I would never allow it) I would not want the whole world to see that! I would be embarrassed as a patent!

Exactly!! And you know the parents encourage it (probably taught it, kids don't just make that crap up) because they think it's "cute" or "funny." If I had done that one time my mother would have quietly pulled me aside and told me I was acting ridiculous and needed to stop

I feel sorry for the child - she is being raised to be this way. If know one shows you have to behave properly and you live your whole life acting like a fool being surrounded by fools - it is pretty hard to be anything else. Of course they are getting money and their 15 minutes for being this so with that type of positive reinforcement the likelihood of her being any different as she grows up not high.
