Oh yay, that makes me feel a bit better about my small-ish country too haha. I was feeling bad about Australia being 19th (esp. when we came 4th with 58 medals in Sydney 2000 Games!), but 6th sounds much better

If Gabby can just medal tomorrow that would be huge! I would be so happy. The high bar field is absolutely stacked.

It will be hard for Gabby to medal tomorrow but i hope she can do it. with Tweedle, Kexin, Komova, and Mustafina all in the final it will be tough. she will have to hit the best routine of her life or the others will have to have a mistake for her to get a medal.

I was so bummed about McKayla, but the results were fair, the gymnast from Romania was phenomenal, congratulations to her for her gold medal! Also, I hope the Canadian gymnast (Elizabeth I believe was her name) is doing ok, and a HUGE amount of respect goes out to Oksana Chusovitinia of Germany! 37 years old and her 6th Olympics?! You go, girl! My one gripe about gymnastics.....Tim Dagget and his commentary irritates me. I just get easily annoyed by him and some of the time I feel that he can be borderline rude in his personal critiques of the athletes' routines. He's at NBC and in London for a reason though, because he has knowledge of the sport, more than I do, so I respect that. Just my two cents. Looking forward to a great showing tomorrow in London, good luck to all the athletes!

I really want Gabby to win, but I do think Beth will get the Gold if she hits it like we know she can. She's pretty awesome!
