I've read some threads about best Nfinity shoes. Most people says Phoenix and Evolution and I dont really know what positions they have so it's really hard to know whats the best for flyers. I also found another thread here about best shoes for flyers, but it says the same thing - Evolution and Phoenix. So I would like to know which pair of them that are the best for ME.

So to get this as good as possible I'll describe everything the best I can.
We practise 2-3 times a week. We are indoors on a mat, I dont know what it's called (looks something like this: Tress Sport AB)
I'm a flyer and we do stunts, tumbling (on those mats, not a real tumbling floor), dance and jumps.
What are the best Nfinity shoes for me?

Hope you understand my really bad english and that you can help me :)

The evolutions are really easy to grip for your bases (and for you to grab your foot during body position like a heel stretch). The shoes are also very light and sturdy too.

Also, I believe the Phoenix shoes have been discontinued. You wouldn't want to love a shoe and not be able to get it again.

They have definitely stopped being made, I wrote to the company. All star outfitters has them for 50.00, they run wider than other Nfinity shoes.......but r great for flyers.

While the Pheonix may be better for the flyers in the air, it's not better for the bases holding them. I personally would much rather base someone wearing the evolutions because they have good side, heel & toe grips that make the job easier. The pheonix have basically smooth sides whereas the evolutions have rigid side grips. if you get what I'm saying haha.

My daughter and her bases prefer the Evolution...plus they are now sold in Academy stores so it is nice to be able to run out and buy them rather than having to order them online!

^THIS.

i'm a base & i use (& love!) the phoenix but i don't like basing flyers wearing the phoenix i'd much rather evolutions. they're thiner so you can grip the foot better + the heel/toe grips provided.

yes! And I've not yet based someone wearing the vengeance but they have the same base as the pheonix so I'd assume they wouldn't be that great either. The smooth sides are such a toughie.

My flyer wears the vengeance and I prefer to base with evolutions. The vengeance has more of a feel of basing the flyer with just socks on (basically a 'foot grip') and the evolutions give me a good grip on the shoe (a 'shoe grip'). Sorry if that made no sense

yeah that's sorta what I expected since they're basically the new pheonix. the same sole and everything. thanks for letting me know! I hope I won't have to base those!
