Day 1 of Color Guard was AWESOME!

Ahhh so I had my first two days of school and its been pretty good! The first day was just weird, not knowing anyone or anything really about what was going on but today (my second day) was a lot better! Everyone has been friendly and welcoming pretty much and I really like my classes! Its so weird though... its such a small school, like I didnt even schools like this existed! I think there are 12 other kids in the senior class? and they dont have a gym or anything, its crazy. I don't think I would like it if I was staying longterm, even like a year but since its only a few months I think it'll be fun!

i really want to do this to my uggs... but i feel like i'll mess up and it'll just be a mess. and uggs aren't cheap either.... ugh #IndescisiveProbz

Guys.. I've been on here since I was a sophomore in highschool. I'm moving into college this weekend. This is weird...

But they would ONLY schedule me like once a week for like 9 hours on a day I have cheer... So two days ago I quit. It was rough since I reallly liked my job & I'm in a work program at school which lets me leave early and I have to have a job for it... lol
But for you, I would definitely tell them straight up, only schedule you on days you CAN work. Write down your complete schedule and availability and give it to them. If they keep giving you shifts during your practice times, just keep giving them the days you can't work. If this doesn't work, you'll probably just have to find a new job. It's rough but having to juggle cheer & work is a commitment and you need a job and team that is willing to work with each commitment!

I sent an email literally 5 minutes saying I can't work there anymore. I have other ideas for jobs and one place that I'm almost positive will hire me and I know they work around everyone's availability. Thank you!

Summer really screws me up... I miss being on here haha lame but true.

Maybe you could buy a cheap version of the uggs? That what i do lol. Me=Cheap. lol. Gotta save my money for Cheer stuff!

I need to vent. Me and my mom are so mad right now.

Our Cheerleading "President" ordered uniforms last year from Varsity, and this year ordered the EXACT same ones from Durham? Dunham? I have no clue. AND they ordered the same uniforms from also Team Cheer. Like. What. But not everyone had to get the new ones, but i needed a shell because i outgrew mine. OF COURSE the Varsity/Team Cheer/ Durham/Dunham uniform rep person gets my size WRONG and orders me a 12 +2 Youth. Um. I'm a 12+2 ADULT. GRRRR.
Since we have some uniforms from diff. companies, THE GOLD on our uniforms don't even match. Like my uniform top (I have a Varsity one) is a gold sparkly material. The Team Cheer one is a Gold METALLIC. PLUS they gave me a skirt that could is about 10x too big. It was too big last year, and, thinking i'd gain weight (Since i'm growing still) but NOPE. I lost weight. So now we have to get it pinned.
OH. And almost forgot. On our skirts we got from Varisty, they come with our Team initials on the slit, and the new skirts don't have them. (Of course) and we have Jamboree on Sunday.
AND, The varsity tops have a razor back, but the Durham/Dunham and Team Cheer ones are full backs.
I'm beyond mad. I have to borrow my current top, give it back on Monday, re-order me a new one. I'm just....furious.
Luckily my parents agreed i can quit this team at the end of the season and just stay with All Star

today was my first day it was pretty chill umm only bad thing was i wasnt given the right training on the register but i worked at A/X and express and its kinda the same system so i got lucky there!! other then thaat it was good!!! i hope you do apply and get it

I hate seeing my family so frustrated. It's SO much going on. I actually saw my grandma break down and cry today. I never want to have to see that again.

Anybody have makeup suggestions?
Right now I use Clinique even better makeup and love it but I love trying new makeup and I was thinking of trying BB creams. The loreal try one I got in my magazine was okay.. What do y'all think? Should I not try one? Or try one?

Hi-Phlyer21 SmileCat Welp...decided to quit yesterday. He tried to get me to stay and didn't seem to understand my problem. Oh well. I wish he would have told me when he was going to need me and how long the shifts are BEFORE he hired me.

Oh well. Good riddance. Doesn't seem like it would have been a nice place to work in the long run anyway. Just in terms of the constant frustration you'd have to deal with.
